   The natural light and expansive space make Acre a wonderful breakfast or lunch option. The live kitchens are an attraction for kids. And the service was really fantastic!

   My dish of fish dish was quite nice but my friends’ pork was disappointing because they said it was very dry. They thought they were getting smaller, thinner slices of crumbed pork. The service was lovely. This is nothing to do with the food or your service but we noticed there wasn’t clean water for the hens in their chicken house. They need fresh water everyday and fresh food such as carrots top, green vegetable/fruit pees and scraps and of course normal chicken feed. We hope you can improve the above mentioned for those lovely hens. Thank you, Yuki, Kerry and Lynne

   I suggest the team checks phone messages in the morning. I left a message to increase the number by 1, and it was a surprise to the team when we arrived. It was a little embarrassing, as one of the group thought they were an after-thought.

   we went for Mother’s Day (we received a glass of sparkling on arrival which was a lovely touch) but the meal was very disappointing. Everything was flavourless and the linguine had either too much sauce, making it soupy, or not enough so it was very dry. The service was a little pushy - the plates were taken before we were ready and finished with the entrees and the mains were then brought immediately. The room was beautiful and well decorated but overall a disappointing lunch - we won’t be back.

   1/5/2021 On arrival greeted well .. we sat down & within 2 mins were asked to place our order .. long before we had a chance to look through the menu . We ordered some drinks then Once we ordered 5 mins later we were informed the kitchen was very busy . That was good to be informed . When the meals came which didn’t take too long they didn’t both come out together so one of us had to start eating while the other sat with nothing to eat . Not a good thing . The seafood linguine was tasty but had very little seafood & for $28 I thought it poor value . My companions plate was removed while I was still eating . .. again not the right thing to do in hospitality . After that no one offered us a menu to choose a desert or a coffee . Not great for promoting the lovely deserts . I had to get up twice & go to the counter to ask for a second lot of drinks & then to order our coffees . I am a local & would like to use your restaurant regularly but there is a bit of ironing out to be done to hold your customers for return visits . Hope these points help make the restaurant a more successful business .

    It was a comedy of errors. We were asked to order before we got menus. It took 50 mins to get a coffee. As the rest of my family were handed their food (over an hr after ordering) I was told they had run out of my dish so they would have to cook something else. The bread and cheese hadn't arrived before the mains so we had to ask for it. We never got the carrots but they were listed on the bill. The food was okay, not bad, but certainly wasn't worth the wait. It's such a shame as the space is nice. We saw multiple tables getting their food at vastly different times so unfortunately we were not alone.
