Amazing food and the staff was incredible!
Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
Thank you for stopping by Cynthia! We hope to host you again very soon!
Our dinner with a couple of friends was a very nice experience. The waiter was very attentive and the food was wonderful. Everything from the cornbread and cocktail shrimp were delicious. My salmon was out of this world good. It's going to suck when others find out about this place.
Thank you for visiting us! We cannot wait to host you again!
Had a business lunch with client. Very good atmosphere near downtown, just far enough away to have a nice lunch without the hassle of downtown. Servers great compared to downtown fast casual options.
Thank you for visiting us Bradley! We hope to host yourself and many more of your clients very soon!
Though I wish there was a place to go and not hear music, it was a good experience.
Really good! Food was great and service was very attentive and quick.
Thank you for the kind review! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit with us!
Looks great but the value equation is way off. Small pretty portions for $$$$. I didn’t realize it was a Marriott hotel restaurant until we arrived
A lot of sharing happening at our table and everything was fantastic, especially the pork chop!!!
Nice atmosphere. Terrific service. Amazing cocktails. Try the old fashioned! I don’t even like bourbon and it was to die for. Good food as well. Valet parking or self park in the hotel. It’s in the new hotel near campus.
What a delight! Beautiful space. Surprisingly tolerable noise level even when the room was nearly full. Our server Trent was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. During any restaurant’s first week, there are usually kinks to work out; on their first Saturday night, Acre 41’s dinner service appeared smooth as silk. The food was all delicious. Tuna wonton tacos some of the best we’ve had. A perfect Caesar salad. Cold, creamy Bluepoints balanced with the crisp house-made mignonette. I’m still thinking about the salmon entree’s wild rice. So good. Do not skip dessert, especially the key lime pie. Thoughtful, sophisticated craft cocktails. An accessible menu that isn’t overly rich comfort food or new overwrought fusion. All in an artful, expansive dining room which manages to feel cozy despite its size. We’ll be back.
Found this new restaurant on Open Table. It had been opened for just 3 days. We liked the choices for entrees and they have the best cornbread appetizer which we ate throughout the dinner. Our server, Julie was professional and attentive.
Thank you for visiting us during our very first week! We hope to host you again very soon!
Brand new restaurant in a great location on UT's campus. Dining in this area is very limited except for college student fast food so we were very excited to have a wonderful restaurant to go to before performances at Bass Concert Hall. The bar area is beautiful and very inviting. Our food was excellent and the waitstaff and management were on top of our dining experience. I had one of the most flavorful pork chops that I have ever had in Austin and the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were giant. The pan corn bread is a must have for corn bread lovers. There is something on the menu for everyone...apps, salads, sushi, steak and sandwiches. We will definitely be dining here again. Free valet parking when you eat at the restaurant.
This restaurant is very new -- and it shows. The food was mediocre, the service was slow and clunky, the menu included mistakes, etc. I hope they are able to improve but can't recommend now.
Awesome new restaurant. The menu has some fun choices. We plan to return
Amazing food, ambience and service! Can’t wait to go back for dinner!
We had a great experience in the new Acre 41 restaurant. It was their second day open so I would have expected some mishaps, but everything was flawless. The server was attentive and knowledgable. The food was outstanding. The drinks were delicious. I highly recommend trying this place out.
Everything was really good. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and the menu was incredibly diverse. Where else can you get sushi and shrimp and grits?? Weird, but it somehow works. Drinks were great and the wine list was good. Will definitely be going back.
We had an amazing meal at Acre 41! Since the restaurant just opened we didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised with everything. First, there is valet for the hotel that they will validate for you. If you want to enjoy happy hour, get there before your meal and partake at the bar. The old fashioned was $5 on HH and you definitely got your money's worth. We had the bone marrow as an appetizer. The plate here comes with 3 pieces but the bones aren't quite as full of marrow as we've had at other places. The bread that accompanied was good and had a nice char. Our main entrees of the belly on pork and wagyu filet were amazing. The flavor was above and beyond expectations. The char on both was perfect! I've never had this kind of cut on a pork chop and it was a treat. Our server Felix was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant is upscale and although in the bottom of the hotel you don't get that restaurant in a hotel vibe. Overall, highly recommend and we will definitely go back again.
Great new restaurant near the UT campus. Staff were friendly, and the food was delicious.
What a great experience! From the moment we entered, we knew this would become one of our top restaurants and bars to go to. Great crafted cocktails at the bar, their signature Old Fashion is tops! The ice cube has the logo etched inside the cube! We did not have to wait for our reserved table. Our waitress was great and very personable, we tried their Spinach and crab dip, cornbread, New York Strip and Salmon and finished with a key lime dessert! This is a great new spot for foodies and now on our list of favorite restaurants!!
I went here with 3 of my girlfriends from work for dinner during opening week. We started off with the burrata. It was done very well - like a burrata should be. We all ordered something different and shared. The portions were very good for the price! We had the pasta, shrimp & grits, chicken, and porkchop. All were presented impressively and tasted fantastic... still dreaming about that pasta. Our server was Julie - she was quick and attentive. No-nonsense efficiency with a smile. We met the manager Trevor who gave us a fantastic wine recommendation. He knew exactly what to pair that would go with all of our dishes. I also liked the retro styled furnishings, the lighting and the local themed artwork. Overall It was a great dining experience and great value for the money spent.
Beautiful bar and design grab you attention immediately when you enter. The lighting was dim and warm while the music told us this restaurant had energy and personality. Our Host was approachable and Bri took care of our service with her Midwest smile and amazing suggestions. Cocktails were well balanced and the food was consistently excellent. The Thai tuna roll was our consensus favorite dish (it had amazing lingering spice) along with the Hanger streak and elotes.
The service was fantastic! Food was good though not particularly memorable. Would definitely return for the cocktails!
Incredible meal and service! Will be back!
Great for events and business meetings near Campus.
This is a great place if you are looking for an upscale restaurant in the University of Texas area. Food was great and it has a very cool bar with a great signature cocktails list. They have a very unique ice cube in their old fashion with the Acre 41 logo embedded. Cheers! Scott
Acre 41 was a great dining experience. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter was great at recommending menu items & talking us through the experience. The food was fantastic. There was 4 of us and we each ordered something different. Everyone raved about the food. I personally got the burger and thought it was fantastic. The food also came out very timely. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back for a future brunch!
This place is something special. Get in before everyone hears about the new kid in town. Close enough to downtown for that vibe, but on the perimeter so more breathable. The perfect "go to" for UT upscale visitors, nothing campus situated compares. Ambiance was hip and happening, but even with a packed house our round table of 5 enjoyed nice conversation with good music in background. The menu has something for everyone without being too extensive. I could have eaten copious amounts of the Beef Tataki appetizer - divine. Must return to try the Roasted Bone Marrow app. OK, so I'm a beef girl, but the Wagyu Beef entree was mind blowing, and learning from our waiter that it is locally sourced farm to table made it taste even better. I was actually surprised by the price - good value. Maybe just me, but the specialty cocktails seemed overdone, just too complicated. (Though the signature acre 41 ice cube in my son-in-law's amped-up old fashioned was IG photo worthy) But overall the cocktail menu had just too much going on to my taste. Next time I'll enjoy a nice wine to complement the experience.
Great service and the steak and eggs were amazing! The atmospheric here was wonderful as well and I loved the green juice selection
Modern style with classic elements. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and did a great job. I enjoyed it immensely!
