   Roast beef Wednesday's $39. Huge portion, but slightly undercooked (med rare was RED). Editable. Very tasty, even the mashed potatoes. Ask for extra aus jus. Yorkshire pudding was fab, Worth it for a treat of a nice meal

   Amazing service! Our server was very nice and readily available. She made it an outstanding experience. The food was pretty good for its value!

   We went for Bite of Burnaby on a Saturday. We got the crab cakes, halibut and lobster risotto, and surf & turf. Both meals were good, not amazing but good. I was pleasantly surprised that the halibut was separate and placed on top of the risotto rather than mixed in. There was supposed to be lobster but I didn't taste or see any. Desserts were kind of weird... the milk chocolate cake is not that. It's a marscapone mousse with a very thin layer of cake on the bottom. The grape tart is actually an orange custard tart with a couple grapes on top. I didn't realize the restaurant was so open to the hotel lobby so the ambiance wasn't our favourite but it was also fine and quiet. The live music was a nice touch.

   Acqua was offering a three-course set menu so we decided to try it. We are usually impressed by the food here but this time we were disappointed. The portobello mushroom and chestnut soup was fine. The beef short rib was overcooked so it was dry and not tender. The grape tart was also just so-so. There was a musician playing as it was Saturday evening and we found the volume much too loud. If we were at a show and were there to watch the musician playing, then it would have been fine but as background music to our dining experience, in my opinion it was too loud as we had to raise our voices to hear one another and to be heard by our server.

   I learnt about the Prime Rib Wednesday special online. Since I don't own a car and it was about a 10 min walk from Brentwood Skytrain station, and it was raining, it wasn't exactly convenient for us. But once I sat down, the waitress was extremely friendly and caring to bring us hot water with a touch of lemon per our request. Since we were not very hungry so I ordered the prime rib directly. The size was big and truly value for money. Since it is family restaurant, u may expect to hear kids shouting here and there, but still a very comfy ambience. Highly recommended!

   My partner and I went there for their Valentine's day set meal, and the food was amazing!! I ordered the tenderloin, which was well seasoned and cooked to a beautiful medium rare. At first, I was a bit uninterested in the appetizers (the options were a beet salad or prawns and Spinach gnudi), but I was pleasantly surprised that both options were very delicious. Also, we were given complimentary champagne which was very thoughtful.

   The food, service, environment, all were great! My wife and I enjoyed absolutely everything . The prime rib was amazing. I definitely recommend and we’ll be back for sure
