Wonderful way to start our Valentines celebration !! Even accommodated two more friends on a busy day!!
Acqua is my new favorite restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff is extremely accommodating. Also a very comfortable romantic setting makes it a keeper in my book!
Everything excellent beginning to end!
Was average. Would have preferred to order from the regular menu and not just brunch
I have dined here a few times and I must say it has always be a great place! The food has always been delicious especially the home made pasta. The lasagna, the squid ink pasta, and the ravioli are so good.
I had an outstanding lunch at Acqua. The pear salad, branzino and mashed potatoes were all delicious. The service was great and the prices most reasonable.
Perfect New Years Eve dinner! Delicious food, nice staff!
Amazing service! I’m vegan and the wait staff was super accommodating and pointed out 3 items that were vegan/could be made vegan. The ambiance was lovely. Would definitely recommend
Just Delicious! Pasta, Pasta, Pasta - house made, fresh and prepared to perfection
We had a wonderful time!
I'd passed by Acqua during a random couple of hours in the Seaport neighborhood, and made a mental note to check it out. When we were making plans with another couple for dinner, we decided to try this as a new place. What a great find! It's intimate and homey, the service is extremely friendly and efficient, the prices are quite reasonable, and the food is delicious! The only downside is that it was a rainy evening, so we couldn't enjoy the bonus of the lovely waterfront location. Our friends loved it, too, and we're looking forward to coming back soon!
Food was very tasty and good variety on the menu.
Food is good but they need to update their website menu to match the restaurant menu. You look at that and then when you get to the restaurant they don't have it.
Very good italien restaurant near NY East port : fresh and tasty !
Restaurant is very noisy for such a small space- the place wasn’t full and it was super loud. Caprese appetizer is good but I also ordered a special pasta of the day-pasta with calamari and green pea sauce, and that was absolutely horrible. Pasta was chewy and not hot. Should have eaten next door at Bellini.
Food was good, but came out cold. Service was slow and poor. Was disappointed.
Loved dining at Acqua. Food is excellent and home made, great presentation of food, service is prompt and the staff is very friendly and engaging.
Awesome food, great location.
The menu was expansive and the food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. It took a very long time to get our main course and one dish came out a full fifteen minutes after the other people were served. No one came over to see how we were doing and/or apologize for the wait. I expect a great deal more from any restaurant, but particularly one in this price range.
Favorite neighborhood place
Excellent food and attentive service. It was our first time trying this restaurant, but my wife and I discussed it after word and we will most certainly come back.
the food is excellent. They have a great variety of beef, chicken, pasta and seafood. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Order from them but glad that I went to see the restaurant in person. Will definitely go back.
If you want to eat real Italian food come here.
Acqua is our new favorite nyc restaurant! Great food, great wine, great service. Highly recommend the squid ink spaghetti and the seafood stew. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the city!
Love the Brunch! Recommend the Waffles! Service was excellent, pleasant and accommodating.
A group of us were going to a concert at Pier 17 and wanted to grab a bite beforehand. Knowing the area would be slammed, I reserved the only table I could get a reservation for. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they knew we had limited time and helped us get in and out so we weren’t late.
The oyster were tasty and cleaned very well. I had the scallops, which were cooked perfectly, however the bed of lentils were ok & didn’t really look that appetizing. Wine was great.
Inside restaurant looked like it needed so updates, as well as the bathroom, which was a tiny unisex stall for the entire restaurant.
Great experience very friendly staff, foos was delicious!
We had an early brunch. Food and service were very good. Would return.
Amazing spot! Loved the style of the restaurant and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was very delicious! Will definitely come back.
Acqua is a unique spot at South Street Seaport. The service is professional, efficient, and friendly. The food is outstanding - the seafood is fresh, and the pastas are cooked to al dente perfection. Good wine list, excellent cocktails, and a slew of tasty after dinner drinks and digestives. Highly recommended.
Horrible acoustics. Not able to carry a conversation. Waiter inattentive. Got salad two seconds after ordered, before drinks. Food ok.
Fabulous food. Attentive wait staff. Small & quaint restaurant in a nice location in NYC.
Service was great, drinks were good, food was good. Was a great date night spot.
Acqua is a wonderful restaurant featuring seafood, fresh pastas, and pizza. Great food, wonderful cocktails, good wine list.
Excellent eggplant parm, and gluten free! Many choices are noted as gf. Service was very good. We’ll return, particularly since we live nearby.
One thing I noticed on the check was the suggested tip amount calculations were based on the total including tax, not the food, drink alone. I pointed this out to the manager who said it was the system. I told him that was a setting that he could control. I’ve noticed this in other restaurants, but the majority get it right.
Lack of toilets let down this restaurant fortunately we were not sitting by the queue waiting to go to the toilets.
Nice place in a great part of NYC
