   Hostess was not very pleasant, but thankfully our server Luis was the friendly, charming, and took genuine interest in caring for his guests. Appetizers were very good, but entrees can be better.

   We were meeting friends for dinner and needed a restaurant halfway between us. We liked the reviews for Acqua e Farina, so we decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! We each ordered a different pasta. Portions were generous, service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We definitely will return!

   We love this restaurant. Typically I like to sit in the raised alcove with Italian painted scenes on the wall. However with my husband’s hearing deficit, there is a lot of noise…so we sit in the other areas. The food is great. I consistently choose the calamari piccata, love the capers! We had appetizers of beef carpaccio and fried calamari, along with a lovely wedge salad. Excellent food, great service at reasonable price! The only reason I gave it 4 stars on the food was my husband ordered the beef special, which the waiter said “thin strips of beef wrapped with prosciutto and mushrooms, instead it was ground beef, and more like a meatloaf..disappointing to my husband…
