Fantastic quaint family owned restaurant and flower shop, great decor and wonderful atmosphere. The food is made to order and is fresh every time. Inventive and delicious menu, creative drinks. Awesome bar area too. Absolutely stunning outdoor patio area for outdoor dining by the lake!

Service, ambience, lakeside location, food all very special. A little pricey for everyday dining, but this is more of a special occasion, date night, experience kind of place, so price goes w/ the territory. Very impressed, our new go to when we have out of town guests, etc.

Enjoyed Mother’s Day Brunch here with my husband and son. The service, ambiance and meal were all delightful. We enjoyed the deviled eggs, burger sandwiches, shrimp grits and espresso crème brûlée. Looking forward to gong back there again!

What an enchanting place! The food was excellent, drinks were lovely, a tad steep in price? Overall is was a sweet place for an intimate Birthday celebration. Great ambiance and location. Love the esthetic of this place. Elegant with a touch of quirky! I would highly recommend!

We celebrated a special occasion on our first visit to Acorn & the Oak. The service was attentive and our server Casey was warm and friendly. The food was delish! We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms which were good although I couldn’t really taste the crab. I ordered a trout special for my entree. It was served with lemon wild rice and asparagus. I enjoyed it all. My partner had the pork loin which was a huge serving with polenta and asparagus. He was happy to have leftovers for another dinner. We finished off the meal with the flourless chocolate cake which was a huge piece and very yummy. For drinks, we had the tequila based Devils Advocate which was very different but “one of the best” and a glass of French white wine. We’ll definitely be back. Our tab totaled $155 which seems to be on par with other fine dining restaurants we’ve visited lately.

The setting and service excellent. Cocktails and relish tray very good. Main course though was horrible. Salmon over cooked, hard, no flavor with boring lentils and tough broccolini. Cocktail excellent but the wine by the glass I ordered was bad. At such an expensive restaurant you would think $15 house wine would be decent. Overall disappointed and I probably wouldn’t go back because of the high prices and bad food.

I began with the "Grumpy Old Mule" cocktail and it was yummy!!! So refreshing but also "tasted" like winter. We also had the Seafood Mac & Cheese - which was truly decadent and the Salmon, which was also delicious. We will definitely return to check out the Summer menu!

Fantastic food, drinks, service—and flowers! We had a great Valentine’s meal (early) in their cozy bar area. One day I’ll manage to save room for dessert! Stuffed date appetizer was scrumptious, Redrum is my new favorite cocktail, and the lobster tail special with risotto cakes was fantastic. Hubby had pork with apples & leeks and enjoyed it, too.

I have dined at Acorn and Oak about 8 times since moving to Vancouver a year ago,every visit has been Excellent. Last night’s Valentine’s meal was one of the best. The lobster tails were perfect. I tend to avoid lobster as so few get it right, these were tender and juicy , absolutely delicious. Great cocktails and wine. Excellent service, there when needed, but no hovering. Rely you can’t go wrong, go, go now!

Unique greenhouse shop and bar/restaurant. I was hoping to see more flowers around but it was more greenery/hanging plants, still pretty. If you want flowers on your table, definitely preorder an arrangement, something I wish we had done. I was hoping we could buy some flowers when we were there for dinner. Service was fabulous and friendly. Fun selection of beverages both alcohol and nonalcoholic. The fillet mignon was cooked perfectly. Bourbon sauce on chicken was tasty. All the appetizers sounded so good, I would love to make a meal of just those next time.

Wanted to love it. Drinks were delicious, buratta appetizer was as amazing as ever. Service was friendly, but felt rushed. Disappointed to be seated in the bar when I made reservations as soon as they became available. It was so dark, we couldn’t see the menu or our food, though I love the overall decor and ambiance, it was quite crowded. I ordered the special for the weekend of two lobster tails with fried risottos cakes. I was sorely disappointed that the cakes were actually deeply deep fried and felt more like eating fast food than five star cuisine. They mainly tasted of grease and were far too heavy to be served with delicate poached lobster. Lobster tails were even mushy! I was sooooo disappointed as ordering a $55 entree is a big splurge for me. The dessert was fair, but also a fell short of expectations. I think we need to try again on a normal evening, and not special occasions.
