   THE WORST Mother’s Day Lunch. I made reservations here because my Mom and I like their Crab and shirmp enchiladas, and was looking forward having them. I made a 2pm reservation to avoid their Sunday Brunch. We got seated at 2:15pm and the hostess even asked if we’re having regular menu or brunch. I told her regular menu. However, when we got seated the waitress told us that regular menu is only available at 3:30pm, and brunch is the only one available. I told her their poster says brunch ends at 2pm and even showed it to her, but she insisted that only brunch is available. At that point, I didn’t want to argue because I’m afraid that they may just do something bad to our food and drinks. As we were getting the food from the buffet, we saw other tables with regular menu. I felt like we’ve been forced to have the leftovers from the brunch. The food selections were nasty. It was NOT worth $42 per person. We could have a better meal at SuperMex for half the cost. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I hate that the waitress lied, ruined Mother’s Day for us🤯😤

   Everything was wonderful , my mother and I had a great time . Special shout out to Lorena!! She was a wonderful person and attended to all our needs .

   We had a 7:45 reservation, arrived at 7:20 and were told we would be seated next. And that it would be 5 or 10 minutes. A half hour later asked again and hostess told me again 5 or 10 minutes.  I said that we had a one year-old and that anything they could do to expedite things would be really appreciated. She said she would ask a manager and then walked over to the bar to place a to go order and didn’t do anything. I had to flag down a different hostess, who also didn’t seem to know or care about what was going on, in order to get seated at our table. Once we got seated, we got chips and salsa right away and then no one came to our table. Other tables around us were just getting their drinks from the bar. We left without anyone giving us menus or asking for our order. Definitely a disappointing cinco de mayo experience.

   Always a great experience but, for whatever reason, this time the pozole was missing both the pollo and the maíz molido, so only the caldo (or sopa) was available. And similar for the Menudo, no maize but the tripe was plentiful

   I had a great time at this Easter Brunch. I've been to other Sunday Brunches... I think the trick is to get there pretty much within the 1st hour of opening... like rt when they open or no later than 1 hour. It opened today at 8am I put reservation at 9:30. It was pretty packed and we had to wait almost 15 to 20 min b for getting seated. But I got my booth in the dining room w view of outside marina not too far from the food tables lol. We did have to wait bout 15 min for a server. They kept walking past us weird and I finally flagged one down to say hey we've been sitting here and no one has come up to offer us juice, water, coffee? So finally a nice lady got a server and we had the BEST SERVER EVER... her name is ROSA! Any time I go here, I'm gonna ask if ROSA is here working. She got right on it and brought everything water, juice, 2 kinds, orange and pineapple, and strong coffee w creams and sugars... Then without me even asking... I ask thinking of getting some awesome looking pancakes... that I saw when I went past a table that were like cinnamon pancakes with strawberries, blueberries and whipped butter and whipped cream on top with HOT MAPLE SYRUP... and I didn't even get a chance to get up to go get my 2nd plate when ROSA stopped at our table with a fresh plate of those pancakes! She read my MIND I SWEAR!! I was flabbergasted! Thank u ROSA...cuz the line for them and waffles was long and just like that fresh , hot, pancakes w hot syrup came rt r table! The green chili verde and red chili colorado was the best ever! So moist, tasty and juicy! The machaca stir fry w eggs, red and green peppers and chunks of fried onions was on point! The rice pudding was perfect w thick whipped cream on top! The coffee was superb! It was NOT watered down or cold It was HOT and a nice strong Columbian flavored coffee... very good... I was impressed. I will be back.... U can't beat this place! It rocks!

    We always enjoy sitting outside by the water. The food is amazing, and the servers are friendly.
