This place was amazing. I highly recommend the bbq shrimp. The dish is served with the head on, but don't let that stop you. It's really not an issue.

Air conditioning made it distractingly cold. Food was just ok. Desserts were subpar. Also, the service was just ok and the place was only half full.

I've eaten here once before & unfortunately I'd forgotten how spicy (Cajun spice) all the food is. A little goes a long way!

Food was average at best. Staff lacked professionalism and courtesy. And to top it off they charged us for water, Wow. Extremely overpriced!

Southern cuisine at its finest. Where else can you find turtle soup on the menu? (Try it--it's delicious!)

A touch of New Orleans in downtown Washington. Excellent menu, good service, and good food. Give it a try.

What a great surprise! Stumbled on this DC gem when visiting the city. Skeptical about Cajun cuisine in DC, I was impressed regarding the authenticity of the cuisine. Starting with the appetizers, I had the charbroiled oysters. Having been in New Orleans two weeks before, I had several opportunities to enjoy this unique approach. Without a question, these were the best prepared rendition of charbroiled I've had ever had. Served hot, with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese, these oysters were exquisite! In addition, I ordered the roasted duck, which when served was a whole half duck! The only disappointment was the chicken and andouille sausage gumbo soup which had a bland taste to it. Service was outstanding and food was fairly priced. I visit the city for both pleasure and business several times a year and this restaurant will be a must dining experience from this point on!
