Acadiana was amazing. My husband and I were celebrating my 45th birthday and the restaurant was awesome. They gave us menus with my name on it, our server Jounes was very attentive and the food was amazing. They really made my birthday special and I recommend anyone to dine at Acadiana especially for a special occasion.
The food was nothing special.
Sunday brunch was amazing. Live jazz band was classy and comfortable located away from tables so there was no noisy seat. Crab cakes were amazing, oysters were incredible value. Cajun Bloody Mary was more than I could handle but delicious; if u like spicy you’ll really enjoy it. Mimosas were NOT watered down👍🏾👍🏾
Great food and great service!! Kids enjoyed their dinner too!
Interesting menu. Took a while to get served but then great service. Loved the egg appetizer... good food...limited menu if you are a vegetarian.
The shrimp and grits were amazing!
Food was amazing ! Waiter offered to put my grits on the side or serve rice instead of grits due to dietary restrictions. Drinks were also amazing ! Desert was also delicious !!!
We had excellent, attentive service from Alice K. Everything we ordered was hot, plentiful, and DELICIOUS! Will definitely be going again. Great dining experience all around!
Food was delicious!!!! I just wish it was a larger portion size. We had the charbroiled oysters, gumbo, and pork chops. AMAZING!
Wonderful and a go to when in DC. One of our favorite spots and we always have a meal there when visiting DC
I love everything about Arcadiana. I've visit several times bringing new guests with me and they always have a wonderful experience. At this visit I signed up to be a Loyalty Member and was able to enjoy the perks right away. Arcadiana is definitely my go to for lunch with coworkers and dinner with friends.
Outstanding ambiance, service, and food. Grilled oysters are a must as with soft shell crab. Fun couples and small group dining experience.
Very nice restaurant - great service, great food and good prices. Had 8 people a half hour before closing and they couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.
Highly recommend - will go back again.
I really didn't care for the waitress because of her attitude and tone with my table. The ambiance and food of the restaurant allowed me to not complain about the service, but it showed in her tip. I will go back and hopefully won't have to be serve by her, but if so I would ask for another waiter/waitress.
Wonderful experience! Sunday brunch with my sisters by blood and sister by bond. Food and overall experience were excellent!!! Next time I’m in DC I’ll definitely visit again.
Food and service were amazing. Will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!
The food was absolutely delicious! We went here for date night and I’m upset that we didn’t try this place sooner! My husband had the turtle soup and the duck, both of which he said were excellent! I had the deviled egg trio, and the crab cakes. Worth every penny! We’ll definitely be returning here in the near future!!!
Celebrated my mom’s birthday and it was AMAZING! Thank you for the personalized menu, and making mom feel special. Always a great time at Acadiana. Our server was also phenomenal. 💕
Great location and service. Great version of chargrilled oysters. Rest of the food was off. Gumbo had a strange taste to it - maybe fresh dill? Whatever it was, it’s not a good fit for that dish. Grillades and grits was a one-note flavor. Needed more seasoning. Strangest thing was the “jelly butter” that was served with biscuits. Tasted like the sweet and sour packets served with Chinese food. Definite misfire. I would go back for the oysters, but that’s about it.
The outside area of this restaurant was a nice and quite chill spot for me and my friends to catch up and enjoy great cuisine. The “Gas station” Boudin Balls was phenomenal and the duck was to die for! It was flavored well and had just the right about of crunch. The shrimp and grits was amazing as well.
Gave me a hard time about seating. Service terrible. No waiter for 7 minutes, poured wine without my tasting it and walked away. Wine warm. Had to ask repeatedly for bread. Won’t go back
The food and service are consistently excellent. My only complaint is the noise level. I love the jazz music at Sunday brunch, but it's so loud that it makes conversation difficult. Replacing the full drum kit (including cymbals) with a box drum or bongo drums would bring the volume down a bit.
Jazz was too loud... decor was so 2000 and late...
Delicious and wonderful service!
Good for business dinners
Wonderful selection of Cajun favorites in an upscale environment. Charbroiled oysters were amazing and the fish was excellent as well.
It was great!
I have been to Acadiana half a dozen times or so. The food is always amazing but on this visit it really stood out — everything was perfect. Wish I could give 5 stars but the service was a huge disappointment. If I were to be seated with the same server again I would request to move.
Acadiana is a solid restaurant. My server was great and the drinks were excellent. I had the grilled oysters and the seafood gumbo, so I can only speak to those items, and as a former resident of New Orleans I have certain tastes and preparations I expect. The oysters were good but I don’t think they were cooked over coals or wood as is the traditional NOLA way. If they were, they just weren’t smoky or crispy enough. Not bad, but a few tweaks would make them really good. The gumbo was very good, with a nice dark roux, and not too spicy. Many non-NOLA Cajun restaurants make the mistake of over-spicing things, but not Acadiana. I would recommend it for a solid meal.
Great place to take clients for lunch. The food was great and environment were fantastic.
Excellent food as always. Haven’t been in a while, so my coworker and I decided to go this particular day. The server could have been better....always received excellent service when dining here.
Could you please offer more than 2 biscuits??? They are too delicious to only offer 1 per person😀
I recently visited Acadiana this past weekend with a friend after searching for a jazz brunch that didn't break the bank. I'm happy to say that Acadiana didn't disappoint! We were able to get appetizers, bottomless mimosas, main course, and dessert and were seated right away. The ambiance was great along with the jazz, albeit brief (wish they played a tad bit longer and that we could hear them a little better). I enjoyed that it reminded me of my time in NOLA and am looking forward to going back soon.
Excellent food and the service was generally good except for one of the entree order seems to have been missed and was delivered late.
Brunch was fantastic. Would definitely go back when in town again
From the moment we walked in, the restaurant proved to be a great choice for 3 friends to get together after a couple of years apart. The waiter was top notch, engaging and gave great advice on our meal selections. To my surprise one our guests and the waiter chose a shareable dessert to celebrate Fathers Day for me. This will always be a memorable event and location to me. The other two were visiting and said we couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant in Washington. Thanks
Acadiana has done it again! We have never been disappointed here which means a lot considering how often we dine at Acadiana! Excellent service, and delicious , unique menu options. Thank you again for a memorable dining experience !
Thanks for making the graduation luncheon nice. The personalized menu was a nice touch.
We took our grandson to give him a preview of NOL food before we traveled there. the range of choice was goo (although not much cajan offerings), service attentive and friendly and was elegant without being stuffy.
What a surprise. Terrific cajun food just a block from my hotel. Loved it
The collard greens with bacon were delicious. The trio of soups sampler was uneven: the gumbo a bit salty, but the turtle soup and crab soup were tasty. The biscuit that came with them was a bit too heavy for my taste, but ok. The broiled oysters were nearly inedible, floating in butter, with too much breading. Ruined my appetite. The outdoor seating was nice, but I won't go back.
