AC3 Restaurant and Bar
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Daily Prix Fixe & Happy Hour in the Heart of El Paseo - Palm Desert, CA • Voted "Best New Restaurant" by The Desert Sun
We always make a reservation at AC3 (inside the Hotel Paseo) when we are in town. Our server DK was fabulous! He kept the meal at a leisurely pace but didn't let it drag, his recommendations were spot on, and he even offered a dog bowl for the guide dig that joined our group! We were fortunate to see a photo shoot for the September Guide section of Palm Springs Life!
You can choose to sit indoors or outside, and obviously the weather will dictate your choice but both are lovely. I highly recommend AC3 for your next meal or event; you will not be disappointed!
Delightful lunch spot off of El Paseo. Lobster salad is delish as are the bloody mary's
5 Star Hotel and Ambience on Patio great. Service personnel were a little removed..( not completely attentive like 15 minutes w/o checking in)
We are locals... Overall nice experience. Will come back to go to bar and Dine inside. Weekender Menu nice! Maybe add an Ahi Tuna Tartar?...
Our server, DK, went above and beyond. Excellent service, delicious food (burger was exceptional), and had an unexpected late happy hour. Highly recommend!
Chad was amazing! we are initially sat next to a really noisy group of children but he saw that we were uncomfortable and moved us right away to a table in a quiet corner of the restaurant. he was also very friendly and helpful with the menu including paying close attention to my wife's food allergies. Amazing service. Will definitely come back.
Great food and atmosphere!
Was a Tuesday lunch and very few diners. Unfortunately t our bartender was our waitress too and there was a lag in getting both our drink orders and food orders in. She tried to get our food order when she took our drink order but we weren’t ready. Food was served timely and was good. Beautiful, modern room.
Delicious meal - prix fixe menu was a great deal. Will be back.
It was so noisy, they really need to find a way to cut down on the noise. We could not even hear our friends when they were talking. I had the AC3 salad which I have had before and this time it had no vinegar in the dressing just oil, so I am guessing they have changed the salad and not for the better. I also got the pasta which I used to really love, but not this time as that recipe has also changed. We were disappointed and a bit embarrassed as we took some friends there that have never been before.
From the moment we arrived we were wowed with excellent service. The food was also delicious, but the service was the winner.
Our favorite place for lunch. Wonderful Lobster Cobb salad and the service is outstanding!
Creative food prepared beautifully, tasty, great ambiance and friendly staff.
Interior is a bit austere and the acoustics are awful so if the restaurant and bar are full it can be very noisy. Other than that it's a go to place.
I'm impressed! The food and service were truly outstanding!
I think because of the flooring and all the windows the place can be a bit loud, no where for the noise to go, and the chairs could have been a bit more comfy, very bright inside, very art deco like the hotel
Great food & service
Great first experience! Decor is inviting and lively. Service was on point. Food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the pre-fixed menu. Will definitely be returning.
We had a great lunch. Miguel was our server and was fantastic! I like everything about this restaurant. It is in a great location, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the employees are trained perfectly! The menu selections are wonderful. We had the Thai Beef Salad and the Ahi Poke Bowl - YUM! This is my 2nd time here and I will be back! Great restaurant!
Great Food. Fun Happy Colorful Vibe. Good Times had by all!
The music was loud, the people were load making it impossible to talk and enjoy a meal with friends. The ceiling is high all services are hardscape and the noise just blasts. Not my thing at all and if you are over the age of 35 probably not yours either.
Poor selection of music for breakfast! Ambient noise is high and music adds to the roar!
Wonderful, can't wait to return. Happy, happy, happy time.
We've live in the area part-time, year around (commuting from our main house, about 160 miles away). We just can't get enough of the Coachella Valley (even in the summer!). There are SO MANY excellent eating establishments, and all of them work hard to gain the trust and loyalty of their customers, but this was our first visit (hard to imagine!). We try to "branch out," as we can, and we're glad we selected AC3 as one of our "experiments" during Palm Springs Restaurant Week. We'll be back, for certain.
AC3 is a great blend of casual atmosphere, great service, imaginative food, and extremely good service. The gentleman who waited on our table, Chad, is knowledgeable, friendly, affable, and inspirational. Why can't more people in the world be like Chad? Why can't I be more like Chad (sometimes I'm a bit grouchy... like most of the time).
It was a wonderful evening, and, as stated above, there are SO MANY great restaurants in the Coachella Valley, and lots and lots of fabulous ones within a mile or so radius of AC3.
Great find! Two local chefs come together to meld their creative dishes. The portions were generous and there was a wide selection of entrees. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend to my friends!
Food, modern ambiance and service were all excellent.
Food was amazing! So glad we tried this place during restaurant week. It'll become a new go to for sure. Our server, Chad, was the absolute best.
The food was amazing and the prices are VERY reasonable. The decor is fun and lively. The staff is always friendly and their recommendations are always spot on. A great way to start my little sister's 21st birthday celebration. I have only eaten here 3 times, but have been impressed every single time.
This is my second dinner at AC3 and overall is was a nice experience insofar as the ambience and talent of the wait staff. The food, however, was disappointing. While the portions are large, there was nothing spirited or exciting about the meal itself; everything was rather bland and uninteresting compared to other restaurants of it's stature and price point. Also, because the dining room is entirely composed of hard surfaces, it can be challenging to carry on a conversation with dinner guests (there were 4 of us). With so many dining options, I will probably not be back.
Our server totally forgot about us on a night that wasn't even busy.
I have been to AC3 twice. The first time I adored it. The food was excellent, especially the lobster pot pie. The second time was during restaurant week and it was mediocre. I had the swordfish and my husband had a pork dish with some appetizers and it was okay. Not terrible but nothing too exciting. It’s a fun spot but I’d like to see them up their food game a bit.
My wife, another couple and myself went for restaurant week. They had a prefix menu which had several great selections. All of us had a different entree which gave us all a taste of everything. My swordfish was perfectly done and so was my wife’s Ahi tuna. We also got a taste of the short ribs and schnitzel. The short ribs were very tender and I thought the ahi was also very good. The schnitzel was good but not really my favorite. Our server was DK and he was great. The bar is also nice and they have a happy hour.
I made reservations to celebrate my friend's doctorate. We both had the bottomless mimosas and the AC3 RANCHEROS which featured braised short ribs. The dish was so delicious and was just the right amount. We topped off the meal with desserts me with the brulee and my friend had the apple crisp. I can't wait to come back to try other menu items
Another outstanding meal at AC3, with all of us at the table oohing and aahing! Highly recommend this gem!
Food was excellent as usual. Our server was EXCEPTIONAL.
Love the Lobster Cobb salad! Our server, Elizabeth was absolutely amazing. It was perfect - we all enjoyed it very much!
We were a party of 10 seated out side on the north side of the patio. Our only complaint is about the noise level of what I assume is the misters pump above us.
Meat was over cooked and broccoli Was undercooked and cold.
Service was friendly
Nobody really impressed
Had a Group of girls for a birthday lunch. The service was so good and the food was amazing!
