Kyō-Kaiseki is a traditional Kyōto-style course menu steeped in history and ritual. Michelin Star Chef Ryusuke Nakagawa’s modern interpretation embodies and elevates the tradition to create a distinctively contemporary experience. Starting with a foundation of the finest Japanese ingredients from the land and sea, he incorporates local produce to reflect the changing seasons. Using both modern and ancient gastronomy techniques, Chef Nakagawa aims to introduce new flavours and textures to each guest.

    We’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration dinner between Ryusuke Nakagawa (Aburihana) and Rafa Covarrubias (Hexagon). Rooted in Japanese and Mexican culinary traditions respectively, both chefs approach their heritage with deep respect—while reinterpreting it through a modern lens. Though their cuisines are different, their philosophies align: honoring the past while creating something entirely new. On Wednesday, May 21 at Aburi Hana, they will come together to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. This experience is $300 per guest plus tax and gratuity, featuring Amuse Bouche, 6 Savoury Courses, and 2 Desserts.

Please note that pairing prices are per guest and pre-tax. We are proud to carry one of the city's finest collections of sake, wine, and spirits; limited-release bottles and exceptional vintages curated by Sake Director, Amy Lee and our team of Sommeliers. Six-Course Beverage Pairing - $180 Eight-Course Beverage Pairing - $200 Wine, Whiskey, Tea & Non-alcoholic - A-la-carte Pricing Our signature omotenashi service was derived from traditional Japanese tea ceremonies and continues to inspire us to go above and beyond in our care and recommendations for each guest. Our servers are always ready to welcome non-alcoholic options, which are available upon request. Corkage service is available in the Private Dining Rooms and we charge $75.00 for a standard 750ml wine or 720ml sake.     Beautiful restaurant. Service was 110%. The attentiveness was beyond description. Chef did an amazing job on the food and especially the presentation.

    Excellent meal, the spring 12 course was great all the way through, the sake pairings were superb, staff was friendly, helpful, wonderful

    We took our friend who was visiting from the UK here for a nice birthday dinner to celebrate his 60th birthday. We reserved the private dining room. The experience was absolutely outstanding! The service was impeccable, wine selected was a dry wine that paired very nicely with the courses and wow...the food was some of the best Japanese food we have ever tasted. The presentation was 10/10. I would go back again for a very nice expereince.

    We’ve been here multiple times and the service and food is immaculate every time. The menu changes with the seasons so you’ll have something new often. Highly recommended and we’ll continue going back time and again!
