At Abuelo's in Arlington, Chef Luis looks to old family recipes for inspiration, and then brings them firmly into the modern world with creative offerings like jalapeño cheese fritters, chicken and spinach mini chimis and seared tuna sashimi with mango relish and avocado - and that's just for starters! As you might expect, you'll also go on to enjoy a wide variety of enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, tortillas and other traditional Mexican foods at Abuelo's in Arlington. What you might not expect, though, are delights like pork tenderloin in a sweet chili glaze, sautéed chicken zucchini, tilapia sautéed with sea scallops, shrimp and roasted peppers in tomato sauce or pasta la paz (pasta in tomato cream sauce with chilies, chicken, shrimp and veggies). Chef Luis has a flair for the unusual as well as the traditional, so whatever you order at Abuelo's in Arlington, you won't be disappointed.
