About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Innovative
  • Good for groups
Absolute Noodles and Sushi is a restaurant created by Wirut, a Thai who is fascinated with ethnic food and specializes in concocting exotic cuisine inherited from generation to generation from exotic Thailand. Balancing sweet, hot and salty tastes, Chef Wirut incorporates the freshest local produce and seafood into his creations. Also important to Wirut is the presentation — incorporating color and texture. We love our Customers, want to get to know them better and welcome them back time and time again.

Absolute Noodle is one of my favorite lunch time spots. It is always crowded at lunch, because the Asian fusion menu gets two thumbs up. My favorites are the Thai Fried Rice, the Ramen and their sushi. The sushi is always fresh and the presentation is always appealing. The staff is friendly and food is served in a timely manner, even at their busiest.

Do the build your own bowl. I got angel hair noodles with fried chicken and clear broth. Added in broccoli, asparagus and spinach. It was excellent if I say so myself. I'll try a different protein next time and likely do one less veggie. You can't go wrong.

The food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. I had a hard time finding a sushi place open on Sunday. In the end it was a great choice.

This place has very good California rolls and my raw tuna appertizer was delicious. Four kinds of beer on tap was a plus. The wait staff was courteous and efficient and I would definitely go back

Lunched after a lecture on Asia in the early modern centuries at the Smithsonian. Found the restaurant almost full when we arrived and noted that it continued to turn over tables while we were there. So reservations are vital. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered and she took home a substantial doggy-bag. We will return to Absolute Noodle.

Usually nice and quiet but quick during the week. Love being able to build my own noodle bowl/dish and the Thai tea is great.

Service was quick and friendly. Food was a little less than usual but I did try something I'm not used to. Definitely worth a trip back.

This is some of the best Asian food I've had in a long time. Their noodle dishes are incomparable. Plentiful portions. Recommend reservations if in town for a special event. We were there on January 21 following the Women's March and it was packed - customers without reservations could not be accommodated. Lucky find!

The food was okay and our server was nice, but our reservation was 45 minutes before closing so no one was super happy to see us dining in - We definitely felt rushed!!
