The new wood fire grill restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, will showcase the culinary techniques of solid fuel grilling inspired by South Florida’s unique, bold flavors. Overlooking the resort’s exceptional pool landscape, Abiaka celebrates all that is amazing with live fire and solid fuel grilling, using both orangewood and white oak charcoal to bring the natural flavors of the ingredients to the forefront of the palate. This open-kitchen concept will give guests a look into the action as chefs grill seafood, meats and Florida fresh produce on open flames using state-of-the-art J&R wood fire grills and Josper coal ovens. Offering both large-format entrees and small plates, the menu at Abiaka is perfect for sharing or also individual dining. Abiaka will have a signature wine list with up to 100 labels and also premium options available by the glass. The unique cocktail menu will feature a farmer’s market-inspired approach, utilizing local produce, perfectly paired to the menu.

I tried to cancel this reservation for over a month and was not able to. Was not able to reserve another restaurant on this date because of this problem. Something is wrong with Open Table and this restaurant. You should try fix it!

This was the second time at Abiaka the first time on a Tuesday. Service was over the top on Tuesday not so much on Saturday. However, Saturday was extremely busy.

Abiaka is always outstanding! The food is superb, the ambiance is fun and modern. Views of either The Guitar Hotel or the open kitchen concept. Service is excellent. This was our fourth visit over a 5 year span and we’ve never had a bad experience.

I told the waitress it was my son and husband’s birthday and they didn’t do anything special. Wouldn’t recommend for a birthday celebration.

First time back to Abiaka since they reopened following the pandemic. Nothing to complain about as everything was very good. Food and service was amazing. We were seated promptly and our server Sophia made the meal a pleasant experience. We were never rushed and didn’t realize we were getting close to show time. The flash fried lobster starter was a great way to start the meal. For entree’s we had the wood fire cedar plank salmon and the seared scallops and Black Forest cake for dessert. I would definitely go back to Abiaka for dinner when at Hard Rock Guitar Hotel.

Excellent food menu, loved the halibut. Lively and fun atmosphere, but a bit loud. I was greatly disappointed in the wine menu, especially options for white wine other than chardonnay...... the options for red were OK, but I must say for this caliber of restaurant, I expect top wine choices to compliment the seafood menu.
