Fabulous food!! Service could be more attentive to drinks & service. But we were tight on time & they accommodated us got food right out which was greatly appreciated!!! Going to make another reservation to eat at our leisure soon! Looking forward to trying their other venues!

I’ve always loved ABC Kitchen and look forward to eating the seasonal food there. But today was the worst. We sat down and it took some time for the server to come to us- like you know when get to the point where you wonder where your server is. When he finally arrived at our table, I said, - oh it must be really busy today and the server said- it comes and goes. So he didn’t even say- sorry it took a while for any reason. I decided to put our entire order in rather than wait for drinks and then order. We ordered a side of bacon- extra crispy- it came out burnt. The fries that came with the fried chicken were so salty my son could not eat it. My sea bass with sweet peas was lovely. But it was the server. He barely gave us any attention. We were done and we waited for quite some time to have our plates cleared. Mind you at this point there were plenty of empty tables so it was not packed at all. Finally someone cleared our table and the waiter started to give us the dessert menu. I stopped him and simply asked for the check. The check came. I put down my credit card. The waiter went to another table and then passed our table not once looking to see if we were ready. I had to get the attention of the host to run my card. I’m very disappointed in the food quality and service at ABC Kitchen and will not be dining there again nor will I ever make any recommendations for friends to go there. I’m sad about this break up but I’ll spend my money and time somewhere else.

Everything about our meal was wonderful. The server gave us time to look at the menu and was patient as we made decisions on the fly. The food was excellent -- we loved it all. The servers checked with us regularly to ensure that we were enjoying the meal.

What can I say besides that this place was utterly CHAOTIC? As much as I had hoped for a wonderful birthday dinner, unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience this evening. I was excited to book a reservation here based on my previous dining experience at JG restaurant. As someone who truly enjoys a great meal, I was left feeling quite disappointed. When I arrived, a kind and polite server greeted me, brought me water, and took my drink order. Just as I was settling in with my drink and browsing the menu, an alarm suddenly blared—guess what? I was sitting right under it! 🚨 The manager and staff seemed unconcerned, brushing it off with remarks like, “It’s fine; it’ll go back to normal soon.” Despite the commotion, I decided to stick around and continue with my dinner when the alarm finally stopped. I opted for a few courses, hoping to savor my meal. For my first course, I chose marinated olives, which were quite good. For the second course, I had the sweet pea soup. While the soup itself was decent, the peas were undercooked and incredibly crunchy; a creamier version would have really elevated the dish, as it felt like it was simply cooked and served without much thought. Next, I ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare, which I was excited about, especially since I love this dish at ABC Kitchen. However, it arrived without any crostini or wontons. I asked another server if I could get some, but they must have forgotten. When I finished the tartare, my original server finally brought some sourdough. Honestly, that should have been served at the beginning, especially since the restaurant had bread plates on the table. I thought that was the proper way to do it—am I missing something? For my entree, I chose the black sea bass, and I have to say, it was the worst fish I’ve had in quite a while. It was mushy and overly fishy, accompanied by more peas that weren’t cooked or blanched. Overall, what a shame and a disappointment this dining experience turned out to be.

My second visit to ABC Kitchen, my first time for food, although I loved the decor, I much preferred the lighting in the bar area finding the dining just too dark for my tastes. As for the food, I loved the texture and flavor of buttermilk soft shell crab itself, but the lettuce on which it was served was severely lacking, i.e., two too large leaves of iceberg, along with some delicious Bibb? Iceberg? Really? Did they run out of Bibb? Also, the hand cut fries had fantastic crispness and flavor but the portion, which was huge, was mostly 1-2” segments, forcing me to use a fork to eat them, because eating the pieces by hand would have taken way too long. As for the service, it was perfect until I paid the check which was promptly brought but picked up before I put down the pen after signing. Even run of the mill diners know to leave the paid check on the table until after the diners leave. Bottom line, I would go again, and might even order the same thing again, but I would ask to sit in the bar area, I would hope for better lettuce, full length fries and hope the waiter waited to pick up the check.

The food (brunch on Saturday) was excellent - exceeded my expectations! I think we arrived at the height of brunch because the noise levels were SO loud. I’ll definitely go back, but will try to time it to less popular times of day.

Used to love this place, have tried twice post pandemic and both times were quite disappointing. First time back the food and service was hit and miss. This time, the food was mostly decent, but the service was still off. For the price point, you can do better at a number of places nearby.
