    Sunday Lunch menu included roasts and we enjoyed the beef and turkey options. Kids menu perfect size for the OAP in the group with a smaller appetite. Table service now, which is a nice touch. Friendly staff. Look forward to visiting on a different day with the new more varied menu.

    Have used this pub for the last 10 years & this new management is the best yet. The food was freshly cooked & good value for money. I have only experienced Sunday dinner so far but I am looking forward to trying their Indian cuisine in the future.

    The Abbey pub has always been a good pub and we have been regular customers over the years. The new owners were very friendly and attentive and ensured we were served promptly. The range of food is excellent and made choice very difficult as there is a large range of food available but we were very pleased with the meals we chose. We all had a starter and my husband and son chose different curry meals for their main course and I chose sweet chilli chicken on a sizzling platter. We were all pleased with the choices and would certainly choose these again but there is so much to choose from that I'm sure we will have something different for quite a few visits first. I wish the new owners the very best and will most certainly be visiting in the near future.

    Went for Sunday lunch, starters & sweets were over priced, we had mushrooms to start which were nice then roast for main which was good, they didn't have like horseradish sauce or mustard, my hubby had apple pie for sweet which was still really icy inside it, I had choc brownie with custard, my chic brownie was warm but my custard was stone cold not heated at all, & they were served on a small plate with a teaspoon to eat it with, then hubby was overcharged £16 on our bill, they didn't know what to do about it as he paid on card & it wasn't till he sat back down we noticed, then they took a while for them to try & work out how to give it back, so in the end they gave him the cash, yes they've not long opened & yes places do have teething problems, but we do feel it was overpriced,

    We arrived for a Sunday Roast, it was the first Sunday as they only opened on Thursday. I had soup with a hot bread roll the soup was very nice tasted homemade. I had roast beef my wife had pork I would say it was probably catering meat we both had two slices of meat. The veg was freshly cooked with roast & mashed potatoes the Yorkshire pudding was a catering one but it was okay. Unfortunately being the first time they opened on a Sunday they didn’t have any horse radish sauce or mustard for my beef my wife did have Apple sauce. The service was very good and they cleaned the tables as soon as you left. The drinks were quite expensive.
