   A very nice little restaurant - very tasty food, although the service is a little slow and disorganized. Definately the best restaurant in Cochrane.

   Every time I come to Aama (and I come frequently) I am never disappointed. Everything I have had there, which includes pretty much everything on the menu, is exceptional. Fabulous flavours, great presentations, speedy service even with just one chef in the kitchen. Have you ever tried Yak? You should, and you can at Aama. From delicious appetizers, to momos (dumplings), to main courses, to desserts, everything will be a treat, Even their special iced tea is delectable. Plenty of free parking. And now a chance to win an all expense paid trip to Nepal to climb to base camp on Everest! What are you waiting for?

   My dining experience was excellent. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner and felt welcome! The menu had many great options and the dishes came out at appropriate times, rather than all at once! We ordered the yak jhok momo, shyakpa - Himalayan meat stew, braised pork belly, tarua, braised yak ribs, butter chicken and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Each dish was flavourful and delicious. On top of the delicious food, the staff were friendly and accommodating making the experience even better.

    Food was excellent, presentation too. Smaller place but all tables were full. Staff were attentive and helpful describing dishes we were unfamiliar with. Love supporting small local places. I will be back for sure.
