   Stale, reheated curries. Poor service. I was unfortunate enough to witness one of the kitchen workers use the restroom and just walk out without washing their hands. Plates not cleared when we were done for forever and the chai was forgotten. The restaurant and waitstaff had a melancholic vibe that was exacerbated by one of the saddest Bollywood playlists I’ve heard in a while. There’s better places to grab some Indian food here. Would not recommend this place.

   Tucked away in a shopping village you will find this restaurant with delicious Indian food in Carmel. Service was great, very attentive with following up. And a great selection of food to choose from with alternative options if needed.

   Aabha is our favorite Indian restaurant in the Monterey area. Their decor is peaceful and menu variety is extensive. We enjoyed lamb korma and tandoori sea bass. We look forward to returning.

   We had an enjoyable Saturday buffet brunch here. Food was great. We are vegan and had a ton of delicious options. Cauliflower, eggplant, tofu curry, dal, salad. Spice level was low, and I added the super hot spice-chutney to spike my food. Fresh naan from the tandoor came to the table as did drinks. All part of the buffet. Dessert was a creamy “Kheer”. Very nice. We will go back the next time we’re in Carmel.
