I love A Restaurant. My first time was in Newport Beach the original A when I lived in Newport and Newport is more original, nice but can seem more casual. Long Beach is very nice, servers are always great and food delicious. Im here alot for business celebrations, birthdays, just because. If a friend says "lets go to dinner" I can go here two days in a row because I know the food will not disappoint. I dislike trying new restaurants and food is not good. I highly recommend it here for a good steak, their chicken picatta is delicious and salmon as well. Spicy tuny for an appetizer.

They gave me a free dessert for my birthday which was a month ago! Super nice people. My food was good, but my friends were disappointed. However we had a great time there

My experience at A PCH was wonderful last night. Had a husband and a friend with me. We started with a dozen oysters and a couple of martinis stirred not shaken. They were made perfectly with blue cheese olives. I had a lovely salad with Tuna and husband and friend were into the scottish salmon and the branzino. Both were excellent. Our server was wonderful and gracious. Would love to come back with my friends to enjoy the experience again.

My favorite of the A locations. Super sweet server. Food great except chopped salad. Too mushy. Otherwise, great.

I only have one gripe. I’ll explain at the end. This place is elegant and boss vibes. From the water, to the check ins…. This place stands in line as one of the best. Sam waited on us first. And Delia waited on us second. And Teddy brought water and cleaned up our table with Sam. Teddy was on point. Never left a dirty dish waiting. Refilled our waters quick. Sam was beyond attentive and helpful. She was sweet and on point with everything we ordered. She didn’t rush us and gave us recommendations as well that were great. Delia was just as great. A PCH has great servers. Nothing is left hanging. Such great precise. Delia was patient and so friendly. She even read my mind when I couldn’t get the words out of what I wanted. I cannot say enough great things about Sam, Teddy and Delia. Thank you all for a great experience. A PCH has delectable libations. I won’t order the Leilani anymore lol. It was VERY STRONG. Let’s just say it takes me 7 vodka drinks (even if it’s a lemon drop) and one Leilani had me lost lol. The Pear’d Up was the best for me. I had an issue with a charge that was not recognizable. Called in on Monday and was helped immediately. The call dropped, they found my number and called me right away. The charge was valid and an up charge for truffle fries for my sister. I appreciated how thorough everyone is here. The place is very clean. Great views even from behind the bar. Fun people sitting everywhere. They have a Photo Booth that is awesome as well. Pricing is very standard for these days. Happy Hour was great. $4 off the cocktail drinks. Restrooms are shared (unisex). I liked that idea. I didn’t mind at all. Restrooms were clean. Place has a speakeasy vibe. We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. No one came to sing happy birthday or offer a complimentary dessert for her. I’m pretty bummed about that.

Allison, our waitress, was friendly and efficient. My colleague and I both had the lobster Cobb salads and they were exceptionally good with both the lobster and the bacon cut super small. This salad has so much flavor; it is one of my favorites. The view of the water is lovely. A PCH is a wonderful place for lunch and for supper.

I love A for birthday lunches. They make the occasion special with excellent service and delicious food. Their pricing is on the higher side but for special occasions I am willing to pay it. This was my 4th visit and everyone I have brought here really enjoyed it.

server and food were great although i think the chipotle sauce for my tummy was not good for the A steak with brocoolini love the happy hour
