   Not what it used to be. Sure, still busy but overall a middling experience. Food was fine, except the main was just, blah. Staff were nice, but clearly not able to keep up so everyone was just looking around for help. Party of 2 and 4 open tables when we arrived. Sat us right next to the door... which was cold and super busy (main in and out for staff serving the outdoor tables). To their credit, when I asked to be reseated elsewhere, they were fine with that and we moved. And finally, the restrooms where just a mess. So, food was OK, but the rest was just not what we remembered (we've been a dozen times). We'll keep in the rotation - we love Hayes Valley - but will recalibrate our expectations.

   Pasta dishes were very fresh and our burrata asparagus salad was really good. Bar drink quite nice. Definitely give it a try

   We went to A mano for my Husband's birthday! Great service, delicious food! We will be back!

   The food is ok. Nothing too exciting. The lettuce wasn’t the best, salad wasn’t dressed well, and dressing didn’t have much flavor. I had the chicken with potatoes which were both very greasy. My husband had ravioli and it was just ok, he left half over. Service was good, the waiter seemed distracted. Convenient for going to the symphony or ballet but other than that, wouldn’t go back.

   Service was a tad slow- food was great. It was a busy Saturday night before a show and was packed.

   Would have been a good first time at a Mano if we were not treated unfairly. We were denied empty and unreserved seats inside the restaurant at 4pm. Even the empty patio seat we asked for in the outside patio was supposedly “reserved”. After checking their website we found there were indeed available seats inside. I immediately made an online reservation and showed to the hostess who immediately transferred us to inside seating. We are Asians and we noticed all parties seated inside are mostly white. So this is still happening. It’s very sad that obviously race played a role in this experience . Food is just okay not great and the servers did their job. We will not return nor recommend this restaurant.

   He couldn’t have asked for a better meal on Easter. We had a couple of apps and shared a pasta as well as two desserts and they were all spectacular. We went there early and as our meal progressed, it got more and more crowded but the noise remain decent, and the outdoors is always pleasant. Service was great, as usual, and we can’t wait to come back.

    This is a local neighborhood spot. The ambience and service was very good. The menu is limited but interesting. It's near the opera house and therefore an excellent location. Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant and will return.
