   I’ve been there three times and it’s solid Italian food. Nice atmosphere and the service is good. It’s not exceptional. The dish I had was rigatoni with short rib ragu. The actual pasta was great but the meat on it was a tough and it was all under seasoned. If they want us to add salt, please bring some to the table with the plates.

   Not what it used to be. Sure, still busy but overall a middling experience. Food was fine, except the main was just, blah. Staff were nice, but clearly not able to keep up so everyone was just looking around for help. Party of 2 and 4 open tables when we arrived. Sat us right next to the door... which was cold and super busy (main in and out for staff serving the outdoor tables). To their credit, when I asked to be reseated elsewhere, they were fine with that and we moved. And finally, the restrooms where just a mess. So, food was OK, but the rest was just not what we remembered (we've been a dozen times). We'll keep in the rotation - we love Hayes Valley - but will recalibrate our expectations.

   Pasta dishes were very fresh and our burrata asparagus salad was really good. Bar drink quite nice. Definitely give it a try

   Staff, professional, and friendly, food outstanding. Recommend the roasted cauliflower. Meatballs were good, My companions ordered the short rib. Smiles all around!

   The food is ok. Nothing too exciting. The lettuce wasn’t the best, salad wasn’t dressed well, and dressing didn’t have much flavor. I had the chicken with potatoes which were both very greasy. My husband had ravioli and it was just ok, he left half over. Service was good, the waiter seemed distracted. Convenient for going to the symphony or ballet but other than that, wouldn’t go back.
