A Mano in Ridgewood is a restaurant located in New Jersey that offers up great Italian food at an affordable price. A Mano means �by hand� and brings with it the custom of authentic Neapolitan pizza being made as it was in the late 1800s. The ovens at A Mano in Ridgewood were hand built on site using stone and volcanic soil from Naples. These ovens can maintain a temperature of 1,000 degrees. A Mano uses all natural flour without additives and tomatoes imported from the San Marzano region. The menu at A Mano in Ridgewood is traditional and you can try dishes like the prosciutto and mozzarella, which is a delicious appetizer. One of the most popular pizzas is the diavola, which features tomatoes, mozzarella, spicy salami, basil and olive oil. All pizzas can be made gluten free and whole wheat is also an option.

The food and service is always a bit of a dice roll and this time it came up craps. There is also something really shady diners need to watch out for. When you get the check, there are three lines that tell you what a 15%, 18% and 20% tip would be. Only the numbers are WAY off. The 15% tip is really 20% and the 20% tip is really closer to 30%!!!! I don't know if this was intentional or done on purpose, but if you use their guidelines you are ripping yourself off. Call them on it!

We regularly go to A Mano for the pizza. It's hard to find good pizza in NJ, strangely enough. You won't go wrong here. Only negative is that it's a bit pricey. Service can be spotty -- even when the place is empty -- but this time around it was very good. In all. I still recommend.

A Mano is an upscale pizza restaurant with great pasta. Pizza crust is delicious, service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back.

The service was better then the food. We were a little disappointed The pizza crust was soggy underneath. The pasta dish was bland. The ravioli cheese wasn't good and the chicken parm was mushy. The meatballs and calamari for app were decent. And my daughter enjoyed the Nutella pie for dessert, but that was it.

Amano is one of my favorite restaurants!! They have delicious and authentic Neapolitan pizza--plus Monday and Tuesday are BOGO on pizzas!

Easily the worst restaurant I've eaten at this year and possibly over the course of the last five years. The food was simply mediocre. Pizza was akin to Boboli (frozen) and the calamari was literally unedible. This place should be closed down.

Been to A Mano a number of times. Generally the food is really good, if pricey, but the service is always horrible. This time around we had issues with both. Wrong order arrived for one of us. Another order came really late. And the other order had somewhat funky artichokes on it. Service was a slow as ever.

We saw it on the show Toni On so we had to try it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon. The place was empty.I mean completely. Even the staff was bored, guess that's why you could find some of them in the bathroom yapping on their phone. Very annoying. The food was average. Just to be polite we took our leftovers home, but tossed them out before walking in our house. Just wasn't worth eating the next day.
