A Mano Kitchen & Bar
We had a great first experience at A Mano. Our waitress was wonderful, Erica was her name I think..(she came from Avicolli's) and the food was great.
One of the best meals we have ever had
The calamari is absolutely amazing
Average food. Great waiter. Nice atmosphere. Didn’t love location.
We had a wonderful dinner at A Mano. There were 5 of us and each of enjoyed what we ordered. The menu includes a number of items that cam be ordered in small portions which makes it easy to try several things. The food is spectacular! Wonderful tastes and beautiful presentations. Our server was properly but not overly attentive and was happy to accommodate shared orders. She also offered to do separate checks which was unexpected and most helpful.
Pizza and pasta both delicious. Waiter didn’t seem familiar with pronouncing or describing the dishes.
We shared the Utica greens as an appetizer and they were the best we have ever had. Also the their spin on chicken riggies was delicious and the pepperoni pizza was very good.
The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was unique and full of flavor. Highly recommend!
Great service and all food was perfect.
Went here during “Restaurant Week” Really enjoyed our meals and our waitress was great. The only thing that was disappointing was our dessert..chocolate lava cake. What a great deal 3 course meal for $25.00. Limited beer selection and a draft was $7 kind of pricey!
Restaurant week menu was the draw for us but we'll be back. Food and service were great.
Food was subpar, service was poor, and the overall experience was like First World Torture.
Great food, perfect portion sizes, and pricing reflected the quality of food. Would definitely recommend this as a great date night spot.
I always love coming back, always enjoy the Brazino
I have been there for lunch and dinner. Food was yummy for both! Very fair prices. We will go back.
The in-house made pasta was excellent. We appreciated the half-plate option for entrees. The octopus appetizer was cooked perfectly but the harissa puree didn't really add much. My daughter found the honey added to the pepperoni pizza was a bit sweet although the crust was amazing! Great food and knowledgeable, friendly service. We are definitely returning!
We made a reservation through opentable. When we arrived early, I let the hostess know our reservation name. She couldn’t find it but was able to seat us right away. She was very welcoming and pleasant. Our server, Felicia took 9 minutes to greet us. Luckily before that, another server was walking through and smiled and showed us some dishes. We put in our water, app and wine order. The drinks arrived along with bread pretty quickly as they did not seem busy. Throughout our visit at A Mano, we were unable to be attended to by our server. We had to go to the bar to serve ourselves. We had asked other employees for our server Felicia several times but she didn’t show up. Finally after the hostess was walking through she took our order and our server magically showed up with it moments later. No apologies. No explanation what held her up. Nada. She put on a smile and was by no means rude in any way. But she forgot to provide service. Our bill came to $125.28. We tipped $30 cash even though our experience lacked the quality service. The other guests mentioned to me how disappointing the service was throughout dinner. This is our second experience at the restaurant. The first one was even worse service due to the male server (no name given) was high as a kite. He didn’t know where he was or what was going on. He even admitted it to us and apologized for being out of his mind. We gave it another chance a few weeks later which is what this review is describing. Other servers seemed to be doing a great job and were very attentive. So maybe it’s just a hit or miss until the owners weed out the unqualified employees. The food was good! The pasta is all fresh and made in house which you can tell. We haven’t yet decided if we will give it a 3rd chance or just forget it.
Fabulous! This is now our favorite restaurant in Syracuse. The decor is great, the service is excellent and the wine selection are excellent! But the homemade pasta dishes are the best. You can not do better.
Family dinner with adult children home for the holidays. Everything was excellent!
Food was okay just inconsistent in taste quality. The spaghetti with clam sauce was very good. Wild boar dish was relatively bland. Meatballs and chicken Parm were so so, which is one test of a good Italian restaurant. Utica greens were watery and just not Utica greens. Server was very friendly but not knowledgeable about draft beer selections. I don’t buy the “I’m not a beer drinker” excuse. Management should train them on the basics and there was a small selection so in no way overwhelming. Nice enough atmosphere but has a way to go in a city of top notch Italian restaurant choices.
The pasta Amatriciana was good- a bit over sauced, but good flavor and zing from red pepper flake. Meatball app was plentiful- 6 small w sauce and melted mozz- but they were too firm and dense, almost hard. Would not order again.
My overall rating was compromised by what was some of the worst service I have experienced. On 3 separate occasions my party of 3 had to ask a neighboring waitress to ask our waiter to come to our table for typical tasks (taking food orders, replenishing drinks and requesting the check). That said, the food was outstanding all-around. I would return, but would want to see if the service issue was unique to this wait staff.
Amazing food and service by Michael! Had the best bread at the table. I had the pumpkin cappelletti was delicious. Only thing I would suggest is to add a salad to be included with your meal.
Loved every bite. Simply delicious. We tried several dishes and shared them. They were all so good that I couldn't pick a favorite.
The food was excellent. Our waitress knew all of the dishes and had great recommendations. The food is way under priced for the quality and experience.
Enjoyed the handcrafted cocktails by Mackenzie at the bar, and the amazing handmade pastas were truly memorable--especially the pumpkin cappalletti and the cinghiale pappardelle!
Great new place in Syracuse.
