   Given the high score for this restaurant from previous guests, we were expecting more. We loved the bruschetta appetizer; it was creative and nicely presented and great value. However, the rest of our meal was nothing special. The caesar salad lacked flavour and good quality base ingredients; especially Parmesan Reggian. Frankly, it tasted very basic; more like fast food. I ordered the pasta with sausage and was very disappointed; the pasta was partially uncooked and I bit into hard pieces throughout the dish. Also, the sausage pieces were very large and not nicely distributed through the bowl for easy eating because they had to be cut into smaller segments. My husband ordered a house specialty ravioli that the waiter had recommended; he liked it well enough but wasn't overly impressed with it. Our bill with 2 glasses of wine was about $120 USD; making it one of our most expensive dinners in Panama City. Many of the restaurants in Casco Viejo area were more reasonable and offered better food, so we will not be going back to Mangiare.

   The food is okay but the beef i ordered was way way too salty. It was not pleasant to eat. The style inside is a bit old fashioned. Overall it is not bad but not fantastic at all and you will end up paying an expensive bill.

   We went for our reservation and they ignored Open table The place is louzy No tables Kitchen filthy Poor settings Not eorth it your time
