Once a year visit with client
Delicious food, great waitstaff and service! A bit on the pricey side but if you don’t mind spending a bit more than usual, this is the place to go. The only negative thing I would have to say is that after spending $150 for a meal you’d think a cup of coffee would be included in the meal instead of costing $3.50. That being said, my husband and I will definitely return for another meal!
Everything is always perfect and Simo our server, made this visit even more pleasurable.
Great food.. wonderful service..
We usually have a good time at land remember food is always good ,prices are OK
Perfect gold and business outing facility. Great staff and atmosphere after playing Single Creek
Great food and service the only thing we were disappointed with was we asked for the steak med rare and it was more med well, for $125. We just didn’t want to wait for another one to be cooked so we ate it, other than that everything was great!
Excelent food! Jorge, the waiter give us a excelent service
Truly a dining experience - the steak (chateaubriand for two) and the sea bass were cooked to perfection. The service was extraordinary and worth every penny. Not an every night place to dine, definitely for a special occasion but visiting Orlando and meeting a dear friend, it was well worth it. Even Josh in the hotel valet was awesome!
Staff recognized and treated my wife great for her birthday. The food and service were above outstanding. Highly recommended.
My wife and I were looking for a restaurant to celebrate her new job but we didn't really picked a place until a few days before. I wanted to try Bull & Bear, but they were fully booked all weekend and Kadence was busy as well. I looked at all the fancy steak houses in the area and we wanted to try a place we haven't been before and we found A Land Remembered. I was able to secure a reservation and we really looked forward to it since we saw some very good reviews.
The restaurant is inside the Rosen Shingle Creek resort, which we've never been, and the place was very easy to find and get into. They offer complimentary valet if you dine there so parking was a breeze. The restaurant was very elegant looking, yet has a log cabin comfort type feel. We were seated immediately and we were next to the open kitchen which was cool. Our waiter Bob was super friendly and made a great suggestion on a bottle of wine that we really enjoyed. The menu has a good selection, just enough for a steak house. We ordered the crab cake and scallops to share as appetizers and they were both divine! The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked and seasoned, probably one of the best I've had. Crab cake was pretty much all meat, no fillers and it was juicy and sweet!
For main course, we picked the fillet for my wife and the bone-in ribeye for myself. We also ordered lobster mac & cheese and creamed spinach as sides. Let me tell you, the steaks were cooked to perfection, they have an amazing flavor and tender through and through. I haven't had steaks like this in a long time! The sides were plentiful and also very delicious. We had enough left overs to take home for lunch the next day!
Overall, this is the best steakhouse experience I've had in Orlando. Top notch food, excellent service, great atmosphere, I will be back for sure!
The service was amazing but the food like disappointing. Meat was good but no flavor.
Delicious food. Felt a little rushed by wait staff.
Everything was wonderful - food, service, ambiance, etc! It made for a very nice experience for my husband and I while on a mini vacation!
Amazing dinner. Steaks were fantastic. Loved every minute of it, except for one. After asking the hostess for a nice table (restaurant was nearly empty), she attempted to put us in the smallest table half way out the door. Why???
Otherwise great dinner.
Superb service, amazing food and lovely quiet atmosphere.
My wife and I had a great experience. Simo was our server and he was friendly, courteous, informative and always had a smile on his face. He truly was the highlight of our dining experience. The food was very good; prepared timely and well presented. Although we know it is a steak house, a few more choices on the menu would have been welcomed. My only other recommendation would be perhaps to arrange the seating in a manner that couples are not seated next to dining groups. A person in a group across from us was very loud and distracted us a few times from our "romantic dinner". Overall, from the drinks to the dessert, we enjoyed the whole meal and had a great time.
Group on the other side in the bar area were very loud.
Service was excellent. Food never very hot but no problems when brought to their attention. Restaurant can be a bit dark depending on where you sit. Very noisy if your table is near to bar area but overall a nice place for fine dining.
Food was excellent and ambiance is a bit different from other comparable steak houses, particularly if you are familiar with the book from which the name of the restaurant is derived. has a bit of old Florida in its décor and feel. Will return.
Fantastic! The best service and food in central Florida
A Land Remembered—Favorite dining experience in ORLANDO!
Booked this restaurant after I saw a Valentine’s special advertising a pre-fixe 4-course dinner, including complimentary champagne. I figured my fiancé and I would be splitting an appetizer, entree, and dessert...I could not believe how generous the portions were, and how much variety they packed into 4 courses!
The apps were sensational. I ordered goat cheese fritters and my fiancé got seared scallops. Accompanied with delicate sauces and garnishes.
Our second course was a lobster bisque for me and a market salad for my guy...both exquisite, unique, and memorable (that’s hard to do with a simply dressed salad and cream soup!)
The entree was the star of the show—tableside-carved chateaubriand and 2 (TWO!) lobster tails! Served with roasted garlic bulbs, seared lemon, blistered tomatoes, and rosemary. Unbelievably tender and perfectly cooked.
Although we were completely full, we couldn’t help but savor the scrumptious dessert trio—a chocolate mouse heart, a dark chocolate-dipped shortbread cookie, and a scoop of raspberry gelato with summer berries!
The food was seriously good, and the service matched! Sean, our server, was so kind and personable. The bussers and water-fillers were attentive but not overbearing. Everything had a very seamless flow—nothing arrived to the table too early or too late. I really appreciate when a restaurant can see that the guests are taking their time and enjoying every bite, so they hold off and only come back to check sparingly.
Overall, my favorite meal ever in Orlando. HIGHLY recommended!
Bob, our waiter is terrific. Would come again soon.
The best restaurant in Florida. Outstanding food and service, as always. I'm a regular, and with good reason. Thank you!
Ribeye was amazing.
Good food and service. Didn’t care for the setting. Certainly not Florida as in the book A Land Remembered.
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
Beautiful resort. Truly enjoyed the food and service. Perfect for business mtng !
Food was good overall. Table loves the Chilean sea bass
The ambience and the service were first rate. The food was mediocre. For the price that they charge I expect my food to be excellent.
For anyone staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek, A Land Remembered provides a superb fine dining experience with wonderful food. My wife and I live in the area and have been to the resort for a "staycation" previously but this was our first trip to the restaurant. The next time we're at the hotel, we'll definitely schedule a dinner here.
Food was excellent. Our aired , frank, was very efficient ans friendly. Definitely will go back
We had a great meal and service. Bob was our server...very professional.
Great server along with the food! He gave great attention to detail in his recommendations.
Nice restaurant, good selection of food. Ingredients were fresh and all food prepared was having good flavors, great texture, tender meats and good variety of vegetables.
Excellent business meals and my guests were happy with the experience at this restaurant.
I expected more.
I love this Restaurant, always go for birthday and Anniversary
We went Land Remembered at Rosen Shingle Creek with 5 other couples. We have been here before and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.
Our servers were George and Kareem. Both were very attentive and kept us entertained.
I had the Filet Mignon cooked Medium Rare and it was perfect! My wife had the Seafood Sampler and she said it was fantastic.
Looking forward to returning soon.
We were celebrating our 30 years wedding anniversary. The service and food was great. We receive a complimentary glass of wine and a special cake dessert
