We went for our anniversary. Excellent experience. The food was wonderful, the ambience was delightful as well. I’d highly recommend it!
Super cute! We sat in the patio, where we sat & chatted w/the heater on. Got served by a very nicely lady who seemed to be the owner. The food itself was fantastic esp the truffle oil fries.
Later the chef/owner came out to introduce himself, super friendly just to say hello & thank you for coming out to his establishment. Would def go back. Great from, great srvc!
Third time at this restaurant, now our favorite!
We have been here many times as their food is excellent and for the most part, it is one of the few places that is quiet enough for a conversation
Good food with attentive service but the noise level became unbearable when restaurant was filled-up.
The food is good but very rich. So those of you out there who eat a more healthy regime, beware. It is overpriced for the serving portion. Nice owner and staff.
Everything is very and consistently excellent.
It was marvelous
Very delicious French food. A funky, interesting and fun atmosphere. The chef/owner came to say hello to us and prepared a nice dessert for my friend’s birthday. A little expensive for a neighborhood restaurant, but competitive.
This place was absolutely amazing. We went for our anniversary and it by far has been our best one yet. Thank you for making the experience wonderful.
Very pleased with the experience.
Solid food and excellent service! I live the special lemonade and the duck confit.
Amazing food. Very good service.
The food was so flavorful and rustic. Such a great menu. Everything we had was delicious. Beef Bourguignon was especially amazing. Bone marrow, Brussels sprouts, French onion soup. All great. The chef came out to say hello and on our way out as well. The staff was friendly accommodating. Great atmosphere.
Cozy cute restaurant and good food . Ordered Red snapper and Ribeye steak as a main dishes. The red snapper was very good especially the sauce came with fish was really good and it double the taste better. Also other starter was pretty good. Only thing bothered us was noisy at patio. The patio door slamming sound was really loud every time peoples are in and out. But good food and good service made up this little issue.
I will come back to try different food.
My girlfriend and I had a great time. Their Valentine’s Day meal special was terrific.
We had dinner and came out hungry. Not worth the Valentines day date for. Overpriced and overrated.
pretty pricy BUT you get Great service, great food.....will come back!
Wonderful French cuisine, beautifully presented and delicious. The portion sizes are ample, but not so large that you will be too full for dessert. That is a good thing, because the apple tart is amazing!
The prices are on the higher side, but for a special occasion, this restaurant is worth the price.
Excellent food and service. The mushroom tourte was delicious, likewise the duck confit and the chocolate mousse. I didn’t taste my companions’ food - I’m not sure what it was -but they were very pleased with what they had.
Really nice find. Service was great, food fantastic, personable and personal attention.
will come back !
Love this place! So cute, and delicious authentic French cuisine.
Great find. Meals were delish. Comp bday dessert was a nice touch
Cute quaint place. Service prompt and attentive. Food very delicious, modest size portions. Very costly prices though.
The chef was fabulous and came to introduce himself. The food was so great and the apps were delicious
I really enjoyed my meal here. I wish the duck confit had been crisp, but the other dishes were quite good.
Amazing food and very kind service. Chef came out to greet us after we ordered. I saw him come out to other tables also after they ordered. Very nice and very satisfying.
Their duck confit is especially yummy and I highly recommend it! Their service is super excellent even their French Headchef bothered to spend his time from the kitchen to the customer table for a little chit chat and asking for feedback
I love this restaurant. Owners are chef and hostess, most welcoming. French food is authentic, creative and excellent. Novel way of servicing non alcoholic beverages, ice tea, lemonade. The real basics without a ton of sauces. They have a back patio in the warmer months. Some great dishes I've tried, escargot in small potatoes, beef bourgignon served in a small pot to pour over noodles, great pate, always excellent fish. Mushroom appetizer to scratch at the door for. I would go every week if I could afford it.
Very good place, the food and the vibe. I am not sure whether it is common or because of the popularity of the resuratnt, I arrived a little bit eariler than my reservation time, the lady offered to give me a table first while my friend was finding a parking at that time but I have to finish my dinner within one hour, or I have to wait for my friend to have my table. FYI
Delicious, beautifully presented dishes, and an especially good value during the DineLA promotion. Everyone in my party chose something different and we all tasted each others' food. All of us agreed that the experience was wonderful from start to finish.
We felt that we were rushed, The portions were small. Also, I did not think my fish was that tasty.
We went for the dine LA event and were treated to great French cuisine. The prix fixe choices were good enough to come back. Of course the main menu had more selections. The ambiance was quiet and good for conversation.
Makes you also feel good when the chef/owner comes by to chat. It was an enjoyable dinner.
Went for DineLA. Had a lovely dining experience. Service was very courteous and we got our food quickly. All three courses were tasty.
Such a hidden spot, loved the decor and the food was even better. Will definitely be back in the future
The food is great. Loved the mushroom torte, beef bourguignon, truffle fries, and brussel sprouts. The restaurant is cozy with interesting decor. The presentation of the food is fun as well. I highly recommend.
I was surprise on the noise level. We sat on the outside patio near Robertson. U can hear some of the traffic outside. When I tried to get a table inside, both the hostess n I agreed that inside was quite noisy. The food is ok, but the portion is relatively big. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The chef, Christian, came out n greet very table. That’s a nice touch.
I had informed the restaurant of several food allergies ahead of time, and I spoke in detail with our server about them before ordering, and the server also consulted with the chef. Despite this caution, all three courses I ordered appeared on the table with an ingredient on my allergy list (which the kitchen had printed out), including one ingredient which I had identified as of particular concern. The mistakes were discovered before I ate anything, but given the kitchen's lack of attention, I would never go back.
I've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, and I took advantage of Dine LA, and the no corkage Tues/Weds. This restaurant did not disappoint. I wish I had not waited so long to try it!
We had the Lamb Shank and Beef Bourguignon. Amazing flavors! Everyone, including chef and owner were very friendly! We will be back!
Food was magnificent, staff was attentive and very kind. I cannot wait to return. Don't miss the chocolate pot de creme, if available. Also, the mushroom torte starter dish was the envy of the whole table. Simply delicious!
