   We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there because A Cote is one of our favorite restaurants, and we’ve had so many stellar meals and celebrations there over the years. Our go to place for visitors from far and near, and everyone asks to come back. Great place!

   The mussels and fries are wonderful, and if you plan your visit for T-Thurs 5-7pm they are a terrific deal as well. Our dinner was great, two of us had the mussels and one had the beef daub. The food was great and the service easy and friendly. Great for a party with friends or a date night.

   This was very disappointing. My dinner partner was delayed so I was alone, which was not a great thing on New Year's Eve, and my wait person completely neglected me ignored me to the point where I had to go up to the bar to ask for things, even though I'd asked another waitress to get my waitress. At least the other wait person did help me but it left a very bad taste in my mouth literally because the food she recommended that I wanted to try, she said it was good and it was really terrible for $28 vegetable pot pie had basically no taste and seemed like something you could heat up from the frozen section. This whole experience was a huge disappointment because I've had very good meals at A Cote in the past.

   I have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, but they fell a bit short on the menu tonight. Pasta was undercooked, and deviled eggs underwhelming. My husband's steak was delicious however. Eating in the parklet out front does feel like you are little left out of the party happening inside.

   Like everywhere, prices make it harder to justify. Cheapest glass of red wine is about $20. Nice Cab Franc, but. Flatbread was good but 1.25 for the container to take the last piece home. And it was $24. So good. But we will probably go elsewhere.

   Food was pretty good, although a bit overpriced, which I expected for New Year's Eve. However, big disappointment because I specifically made a reservation for inside--because I get cold easily and because I wanted to hear the live music. Instead we got a table outside in the back, where I was cold the whole night and we could not hear the music at all.

    The New Years menu was very poor. Not enough vegetables in the pot pie and the potato pancakes were thin, soggy and tasteless. Wedge salad was quite good. Overall there were no grilled fish dishes, only one appetizer and only one meat - steak which I don’t need to eat. Menu was very, very limited. There were four pages to the drink menu, and one to food.

    Food and service were great. Started with Frito Misto, it had shrimp, squid, and fennel that are battered and fried. There were shishito peppers on the side that were awesome. Hearts of Romaine with buttermilk herb dressing was very good. I had the Boar over creamy polenta which tasted very good and was rich. My husband had the mussels because I never had them before and he wanted me to try one. I didn’t know what I have been missing. The mussels are amazing! We ended with chocolate mousse which was just ok. It did not taste chocolatey. Our server was very friendly l, knowledgeable and did not rush us. We ate outside on a cold evening but the fire lamps kept us toasty warm. It was a wonderful date night location for me and my husband.

    Wow ! Amazing Food just perfect in every aspect. Mussels over the top ! Cocktails 🍸 we tried many ….. wine 🍷 a few bottles Flatbreads- main dishes over the top , We brought friends from Sonoma County they loved it all Staff is Amazing. We will be back next month 🍷🍷🍷

    This restaurant is amazing. First, their food is excellent. We all ordered different things, and every one of them was terrific. The menu is also so creative - there are some good standards, but also always an unusual item or two (I had a flatbread with cheese inside and an egg on top, kind of hard to explain, from the country of Georgia. It was beyond fabulous. The pear and castelfranco (like raddichio) salad was also unbelievable. They have some unusual wines, too, and some creative cocktails. The service is also so attentive but not overweaning. Really, an excellent experience. We had an end-of-year business dinner there, but it's also great for a date night. I'll be back!!!

    Everything was perfect except for the lightning… too dark, we had to pull out flashlights to read the menu…or see our food in our plates. Other than that… very good food!

    Excellent dining experience. Friendly, welcoming staff, accommodating our wishes for seating and anticipating our next request. Malia was a genuinely friendly and helpful server. The steak was superb, pre-sliced, with wonderful whipped potatoes and flavorful spinach. The sauce was especially well done. We had to compete with each other when dividing up the last morsel of steak. The mussels were, as “advertised” in reviews, excellent. Plump and fresh, in a fine sauce, I believe it was Pernod. The golden cauliflower soup was also tasty and satisfying. We ordered more than we could safely consume, lol. Take home box was anticipated. We seriously struggled with the desire to order the cheesecake dessert. We really couldn’t do it physically. But it took all of our mutually shared fortitude to resist. Next time, and we order dessert as a starter, ha ha ha! It was a little loud in the back patio, but it wasn’t overbearing, and easily became background sound. It’s been too long since our last visit.

    Fabulous bargain....mussels and pomme frite, plus 2 glasses of wine for $40 between 5-7 p (weekdays?) Delicious, perhaps the best mussels I've eaten. Sope it up with sliced baguette. I highly recommend this dish. Overall, a good experience. Will go again.

    We've eaten here for special occasions several times. The food and cocktails have never failed to be anything less than delightful and are often amazing. Nothing about this restaurant has ever been mediocre or disappointing. The atmosphere is somewhat lively with a low-light ambience , the service is very attentive, warm, and friendly, and the dishes/cocktails are reliably creative and just awesome. I sincerely hope they keep it up because we will keep coming here for these experiences.

    We sat outside on the street and were well protected from the weather and warm. We enjoyed our choices but were told that they would be paced more slowly and they ended up being served all at once. That said, our server was very patient with us as some ordered dessert while others ordered mains. The branzino and beans is fabulous! Mussel broth is still as good as I remember but the mussels themselves were inconsistent - some super small and others full and flavorful as I recall from years past. Still a place I would recommend for a relaxed meal with friends.

    We love A Cote! The food and wine were excellent, but the star of the show is the environment which is perfect to host friends and loved ones. We celebrated a birthday and loved every minute of it.
