Ristorante A CA MIA is open every April and closes at the end of Fall.

We are located across from the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on the Washington Street Mall. We are available for Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, and Christmas Parties.

The historical building that now houses Ristorante A CA MIA was built in 1872. William Essen operated a bakery and ice cream parlor until 1914 when he sold it to his niece and her husband, Carl and Margaret Kokes. The business remained in his family for over 60 Years. The bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in continuous operation in the country. By the mid 1930s, the ice cream parlor had become the dining room and the business was operated as a restaurant as it is to this day. Our kitchen is under the direction of Chef Todor Videv. We are available for private parties. We offer early seating dinner selections. We accommodate well behaved children.

Entrees and specials tasted incredible. Other foods were lackluster and over priced. Amazing bread. Service could’ve been a bit more friendly, but nothing significantly poor.

Food and service were fine. Would have appreciated a fresh parmesan grate on the veggie lasagna vs the store bought pre shredded cheese.

We welcome ACa Mia back with open arms. Nicolai gave us a quiet table in the main dining room so it felt quite special. We are regular diners there and they rarely disappoint! We were party of 4 and we had 4 different entrees. The ravioli sampler was as good as ever. Chicken Parm, Lasagna and truly awesome Burger was a hit with all. The prices have gone up but not outrageously, like some places in town. Our server, from Bulgaria was excellent! And cute!!

The host is very nice and accommodating. Our waitress was excellent. We have known her for years. She is very friendly and meets everyone’s needs. We have dined here in the past many times and always had a very good meal.

Lovely little BYO on The Mall. Food & service are great. The only disappointing thing was we were seated nearly 30 minutes after our reservation, and we had to wait outside… and it was cold! Or appears that they overbooked, by quite a lot, so all reservations were seated late. Other than that, food & service were wonderful.

Kevin was our server and very attentive. We did have to wait, though it was a busy night so it was understandable and the staff was very apologetic which we appreciated. I had the steak and my husband had the chicken parmigiana. Would recommend both! And recommend Kevin as a server!

We had reservations but still had to wait outside for 15 min in the cold but once we were seated the service was great. The tortellini Alfredo special was delicious. The clams oreganato was especially tasty. Nice convenient location to everything as well.
