Food was good, but husband thought the veal scallopini was a little too salty. The clam & garlic vongole was very good. Loved the afforgato. The service was great!
Beautiful experience for my son and his date for their High School Prom...thank you for all your service and amazing food...we will be back
Are a late lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. She enjoyed the veal, I had calamari steak. They accommodated our request for a little pasta on the side. Vegetable was broccoli, nicely done.
Our 37th-anniversary dinner was a memorable one. Thank you, A Bellagio.
We were seated at a quiet table that was dressed with a special tablecloth and
offered a menu entitled "Happy Anniversary". It was our first meal there and we
were impressed with the soft mummer of patrons. Perfect; we were not interested
in raising our voices to be heard. The menu is classic Italian. We chose a well-dressed
spinach salad to start. In addition, the house provided us with surprise Caprese salads.
The Saltimbocca Alla Romana and Scaloppine Ai Funghi were tender veal offerings
with traditional flare. Delicious. We supplemented the dinner with our own bottle of
wine that we had held for a special occasion. The corkage fee was $25. After the meal,
we were surprised when the house gifted us with an excellent dark chocolate dessert.
What's not to love? We saw a number of items on the menu that we plan to try in the future.
We were happy to note that the restaurant uses premium meats and organic produce.
A vegetarian would be comfortable with the selection.
The service was good here; what we didn't like was the party near us playing kid's movies on the iPad for their infant! Yes, I could see it helps to distract the child, but if the child is too young to be out at a restaurant, don't bring them! Especially, a nice, fine dining restaurant such as this. Other than that, dinner and drinks were good. The Bellagio drink was refreshing as was the Penicillin drink. The sea bass special was really good as was the veal scallopini.
Service was excellent ambience good but the food was way below our expectations not worth the price. Pasta wasn't cooked properly. Wasn't a good experience especially on mother's day.
Food was good but they have limited menus on special days like Mother’s Day. Our server was super nice but really slow to accommodate our requests even though it wasn’t that busy.
Have been here a few times before and it's consistently been good. We had dinner on Mother's day and it was pretty full, but not chaotic like I expected. The service was good, the bartender makes great margaritas! The only minor disappointment was the Filet Mignon I ordered, it was bland and I didn't really care for the sauce that covered it, not a lot of taste either. Otherwise we had an enjoyable evening, and our server Rebecca was attentive and pleasant, even being pretty busy. We'll be back.
We had a wonderful time at A Bellagio. The food was very well cooked and the staff was attentive without being annoying. We will be back soon.
Fantastic place for a semi casual get together. Good food, good drinks, good service.
Great service. Very good food.
Food, service and dinner atmosphere is always great.
Pricey for average food. $90 for pasta and chicken piccata and one glass of wine is high, even for the Bay Area.
We had our Easter Dinner at A Bellagio, a restaurant we had patronized several times before. The food was, as always, very good. The biggest problem was that the staff was very light that day, and while our server tried to be effective, she simply had too many big tables to wait on. This meant that there was a long wait for simple things like water, bread, etc.
Also, one thing that had nothing to do with service is that the restaurant's big windows face west and when the sun is setting, you will have sun in your eyes for 15, 20 minutes as there is no shade. And there should be. Uncomfortable guests do not spent as much as comfortable guests.
So while I would recommend A Bellagio to anyone, I would also make it clear that on holidays such as Easter, it may not be quite up to snuff.
Seevice is fast. Love the calamari appetizer. Food taste is very good.
Our first dinner at A Bellagio. We will definitely be back. Food was spectacular and service was top notch!
A nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. We ordered an entree and two dishes; the pasta with mushrooms and the gnocchi. Honestly, the mushroom pasta was well under par. It was bland and not worth the price. The description said it came with olive oil on it but the pasta was bone dry. Luckily there was a bottle sitting next to me from the bread... solved that problem.
The gnocchi, however, blew everything out of the water. Perfectly cooked, full of rich flavor, and delicious cheese sauce. Can't go wrong with that.
We'll be back to try more dishes soon!
As usual we had a wonderful meal.
Everything was good. Except the waitress was a bit snobby and less attentive to our requests. Other than that I love A Bellagio .
Fantastic as always! We love coming here for date nite!
We always love this place. The food is always well prepared and service is excellent!
Only problem with the restaurant is that tables are so close together the staff bumps into you whenever they try to get by or serve a being table.
This is the first time we've been to this restaurant, which we chose because of yelp reviews – we weren't disappointed. I can honestly say that this is the best prepared food that we have ever eaten in the South Bay area (Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Los Gatos, and San Jose).
We had the boroto cheese appetizer which was really good. My wife had a salad for appetizer which was also really good. I can't remember the name of the chicken (it was on the menu) that my wife had, but it was hands-down the best chicken I've ever eaten (that's what I'm eating next time I come here). It was incredibly tender. I had rack of Lam which was also fantastic.
The restaurant is a little pricey, which is about par for the course in the bay area (our final bill with tip was $135).
The only complaint about the restaurant is the seating. You are literally crammed into it like sardines. I actually had to get out of my seat and stand up because a couple with a baby stroller couldn't get to their table.
Nevertheless, their food was so good that I still had to give it five out of five stars and we will definitely be back in the near future.
It was our anniversary so I called the day before just to see if they could put veal chop on the menu, of course Mary did, that’s customer service! The bolognese, gorgonzola gnocchi, and veal funghi are always amazing, but now this veal chop was probably the best I’ve ever had! Thank you so much Mary! Bellissimo!!!!!
This restautant is a family favorite, evoking italian restaurants we grew up with in NY & NJ. They always make us feel special, that my be because BJ is the greatest server of all time, ask for her section.
We have been to Bellagio before and have not been disappointed. We have tried entrees that we weren't sure of and would not necessarily choose again. This had nothing to do with them doing a good job but because we expected something different. Their food is very consistent.
All four of us enjoyed Our food. The waitress was excellent! Ambience was very nice and the price was as expected. The only negative is the available parking in that area.
My wife and I dined at A Bellagio last Sunday evening. We were seated inside at a table between doors open to the patio with a nice fire pit just outside — giving us a wonderful combination of fresh air and warmth. The Appetizer Menu was so enticing that my wife ordered only from that part of the Menu — and thoroughly enjoyed her selections. I had a delicious Spinach Salad along with a very tasty Scallop dish for my entree. Our wait-person was Rebecca — and she was friendly, caring and very professional. Her excellent service helped to make our experience at A Bellagio a truly memorable evening.
Great everything! Highly recommend
Fantastic as always
Wonderful food, excellent service--as always. We enjoy A Bellagio whenever we go.
Lunch was great--particularly liked the chicken carpulio (sp?)--great value at lunch as was the Italian sausage sandwich. Waiter, Serena, is friendly and efficient. Best thing about dining there at lunch time is that it is now crowded so noise level is low. Great for my birthday lunch with six friends!
This restaurant offers a wide choice of dishes. We had the linguini with clams, which were perfect. The broth was to die for!
A Bellagio was amazing!! Brought back fond memories of my husband and I's trip to Florence, Italy. The food was so good, didn't bed anything added to it, and we both couldn't get enough. The pianist passing on the background was beautiful as well. We will definitely be going back.
My only complaint is that you don't get much privacy. It's a small restaurant and they really cram the tables together. food was great though.
This place is the best. I love the atmosphere and the people are always incredibly nice. The food is always exceptional.
We celebrated a birthday and had a terrific time. The only reason they didn't get a 5-star review is because our waitress seemed apathetic and with little interest in us or our experience. Towards the end, another server came (with Italian accent) and she was fabulous. We would definitely come back, but likely ask for a different server, if needed.
This meal was for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we were treated special. My wife had the fish special and she said it was delicious and the wine choice was excellent. I had the Oso Boco and the meat fell off the bone and the polenta was a good accompanyment. The service was gracious and allowed time between courses to digest and appreciate. And I was fortunate to find Spumoni on the desert menu! Our waitress and server were super.
My overall favorite. It’s never been a disappointment in the 5+ years of frequenting the restaurant. Hats off to BJ, Rebecca Mary, every bus boy for making you fell welcomed and appreciated. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.
Extraordinary food; accommodated our special requests; Rebecca really made our night special. Thank you!
