A Bellagio Ratings and Reviews
Amazing experience at A Bellagio! Went here with my boyfriend for our six year anniversary. As soon as we walked in the door and checked in with the front desk, every one greeted us happy anniversary. The server was great, terrific good, and amazing service. I definitely would recommend this to everyone. They made our date night very special. Best restaurant with the best service!
A Bellagio offers authentic Italian food, including a nice Italian (and other) wine list. We let the waiter guide us on our selections and we were very happy. Choices included a nice White Wine, a nice Caprese appetizer and both a pasta and risotto entree. Highly recommended.
Food was good and drinks too, sat at the bar before seated which was fun with the gregarious bartenders. The updated decor is heading in the right direction. Had classic dishes which were very good- bolognese, burata appetizer, salmon, etc. Under new ownership a Bellagio has potential to be even better! Enjoyed ourselves overall.
My second time at A Bellagio was just as good as the first, but maybe better because they remembered me! Food was delicious, very similar to the Northern Italian cuisine I enjoyed growing up (and cook). Ambiance was lovely - not a noisy, noisy spot like so many restaurants nowadays. Service was great. There was a last minute glitch before going to the restaurant, and they were great in accommodating the change. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Came for a nice family dinner. Service was fantastic, unfortunately the food lacked flavor. My gnocchi was good but our carpaccio appetizer was pretty bland as well as my husband’s penne al salsiccia. The only “kids option” was penne pasta with butter...boy was it buttery! I had to drain most of it out of the bowls.
Sorry, wouldn’t come back despite our great service.
We celebrated our anniversary here and what a wonderful surprise! There was a special table set up for us, complementary prosecco, appetizer and tiramisu! The staff all congratulated us on our anniversary and made us feel delightfully welcome. Because it was a Monday night it was not too crowded or noisy. There was even a book for us to sign! Lovely touches for a special evening. When we made the reservation online it offered us the opportunity to mark it as an anniversary. This is something new and I they hope they continue the practice.
The food was very good the service not so much --- Very slow on the starters and main course had to remind the server 3 times on bread and olive oil . Ordered a bottle of wine took 15 min to tells us they were out of that wine .....seems a bit much. Food was very good no complaints on taste. Ordered desert and coffee. Coffee was quick but the desert was nowhere to be found .
Server came by 4 times to see if we had our desert delivered to us Nope! We had 6 people at our table so it was an automatic 20% gratuity ($80.00)....it was not deserved!!!!!
Would try the restaurant again for the food but the service would not be my choice for a group dinner.
We were a party of 5, and asked whether we could have the plates brought out for family style sharing, and our server was happy to accommodate. We shared 3 pastas for our "primi" all very good (especially the bucatini), and then shared the bistecca fiorentina and the Saltimbocca, which were both excellent. We had the Sicilian red wine on the list (Etna Nero?) which was moderately priced and excellent! We will be back!
We sat on the patio. The server was attentive and very helpful. The mushroom risotto appetizer was excellent. The steak entree special was very flavorful and cooked to order. Their homemade limoncello was so good, we bought a bottle to take home.
I have been going to this restaurant for many year, and the food is always fantastic.
Normally order the special - this time grilled sea bass -- cooked perfectly.
Everything was perfect and I always recommend this for any special occasion or bringing someone into downtown Campbell. The owner has his sleeves rolled up and fully involved with making this a great meal for every customer
We enjoyed our meal very much however there was a couple of downsides...one was the noise level and second was how close they seat other people next to you. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and I wanted it to be a romantic night out. The lighting and decor was very romantic however they seated a party of four directly beside us. The only thing dividing us was the partition which had cut outs so you can see them and hear what they were saying and they us. Not romantic at all...however food was great, and the service was great. Also the location in Campbell was bustling but parking was very hard to find.
The food was excellent, as was the service. The choice of food is quite diverse. One of my most favored entrees: Spaghetti alla Scoglio was great, and sauce used was very tasty. The wines are well chosen. My favorite dessert was on the menu: Sorbetto, and I chose the lemon, which is a large frozen Meyer lemon, filled with delicious sorbet.
We went to the restaurant for our anniversary. It was a nice evening so we sat outside. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and asked if it was a special occasion. She quickly took our drink and appetizer order. The caprese was fresh and tasty with just the right amount of oil and salt. Rolls were a delicious rustic bread right out of the oven. For the main course, my wife had the chicken breast (pollo al carciofi) and I had sea scallops (capesante alla ligure). Both were really tasty and fresh, with roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus with just the right amount of crunch. At the end we were treated to some home-made limoncello and tiramisu, both which were to die for.
So, in summary, the food was fresh and delicious, wait staff was courteous and the ambience was quiet and comfortable. We'll be back.
We had not been there for a long while and recently moved to Campbell, so we are trying out many of the restaurants. We had an outstanding dinner from the salads, spinach and Caesar to our pasta meals... very good food and portions, and price! Had martinis - perfectly stirred and wine that was very reasonably priced per glass. We will make this a go to restaurant from now on!
Was greeted right away and acknowledged the note I made for a birthday. The server was professional and loved his Italian accent as much as his attentiveness. Complimentary bread arrived warm. All the food tasted fresh and flavorful. Pasta had the perfect consistency. One of the walls was still in renovation but didn't bother us too much. The ambiance was lovely and was easy to carry out a conversation. Will return.
Our server was horrible, but at least sweet. She forgot that we ordered drinks, then apologized when we pointed it out. Then she forgot we already ordered an appetizer! I didn't have the heart to tell her we had ordered an appetizer already, when she asked if we wanted to start with one. Needless to say, it took a long time to get the drinks and appetizer out.
While the menu looks traditional, the dishes are fresh, interesting and delicious. I was introduced to A Bellagio a month ago at a business lunch. The person who made the reservation used to live walking distance away he said this was his favorite restaurant. I decided to take my wife to lunch there a few days ago. She and I loved it. We shared an octopus salad that was fantastic. Lots of octopus and a great dressing. We both had the seafood pasta which was generous with shrimp, scallops, octopus, mussels and pieces of fish. We finished sharing a tiramisu which was perfectly prepared. Service is friendly and attentive. Overall, well worth a visit.
