This cozy, neighborhood-feeling restaurant offers complex flavors and interesting options on the menu. Our service was warm and friendly, as well as prompt. Entrees we ordered tended to be on the rich and heavy side; a few healthier choices, perhaps seafood, would be welcome.

From the time we arrived until the end of the meal, we were amazed at the attention to detail, the unique variety of the offerings and the exceptional quality of the dishes. The restaurant was tastefully decorated, the background music augmented the atmosphere perfectly at the right level to add, not detract from the experience. The service was exceptional. The staff was well trained and suited to the unique operational model where all members took an interest in meeting our needs with no hint of being intrusive. That was explained up front which set expectations high and then they delivered. The Owner/Chef personally delivered our dessert item which was a special bonus. We've lived overseas in various locations and traveled extensively. The 9th street Bistro would compete quite well in those arenas. Our thanks to the entire staff for elevating an evening meal into a dining experience.

9th Street Bistro does not disappoint! We absolutely love this place. It’s so unique. It’s TINY, personal, and so eclectic and cozy. They do team service, so everyone waits on you at some point, including the chef himself and his wife. The menu is so unique, the cocktails are incredible, and the food is absolute perfection. We enjoyed a delicious apricot burrata appetizer and French onion soup (by far the best I have ever had). I ordered a Lamb Ragu Bolognese pasta and my husband ordered the pork and fois gras meatloaf, and we shared the apple cake for dessert. Everything is fresh and locally sourced and made in-house. This is such a special place, and we are lucky it’s right here in downtown Noblesville where we live. If you’re not in the area, it is 100% worth the trip. I could not recommend it enough.

9th Street Bistro is hands down the best restaurant in Indianapolis. It’s intimate, swanky vibes never disappoint and can we talk about the food? I am honestly at a loss of words every time I try something new. Chef’s Samir and Rachel are the best in the business and are also the most genuine people you’ll meet. We’ve been a handful of times and are already known by name. They definitely take pride in their food and business and it shows a hundred times over.

One of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. The staff team was very welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. Our meal was fantastic. The menu is very thoughtful and unique, offering fresh, high quality items. The atmosphere is eclectic and quaint. It was very busy, tables all full but the design is intentional providing enough space for an intimate conversation with your dinner party. Highly recommend! We will be visiting often

This is a great place on all accounts. We've always had great service and excellent food. Great vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options which is hard to find in this area with this level of quality and ingenuity.

I'm not vegan normally but the vegan entree was so flavorful! I love vegetables. The taste was amazing! My husband had the Moroccan chicken which was extremely good as well. We also enjoyed the flan for dessert.

Service was very rushed. We told server we were going to have cocktails and appetizer before ordering and she asked us twice if we wanted to order our dinners before we had started on appetizer. Finally succumbed to order when the appetizer arrived. Our meals came out quickly with no time at all between courses and we were finished with the meal in an hour. Was not a relaxing upscale meal. Food was good, but not outstanding like I was expecting. Maybe I just read too much into reviews and was expecting too much.

A great dining experience all around. We've been looking forward to experiencing 9th Street Bistro since we saw Rachel & Chef Samir featured in the documentary, More Than Corn. Food was delicious and I so appreciate that neither dish (I had the gnocchi in browned butter, butternut squash & crispy sage leaves; my husband had the Moroccan chicken) were overly salted. A problem we notice often, even at high-end, well-known eateries. The standard old fashioned was very good - just what one expects and wants in a tried and true cocktail. The specialty cocktail: Dracula's Bride was yummy and fun (marigold-infused tequila and blood orange juice plus other wonderfulness!) We'll return.

Somehow Chef Samir can transform chicken into a dish that is flavorful and one that you will want to re-order on your next visit- each month there is a new flavor profile. Yummy!

Absolutely delicious and fun dining experience. Ordered the Lamb ragu and the gnocchi. Our friends got the Moroccan chicken and the pork chop. Every dish was amazing. Did not disappoint, will be returning as soon as we can get in again!

First time here. I love everything about this place. Food was fantastic. Loved the menu. Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks. Service was excellent. This was the best ‘new to me’ restaurant in the Indy area that I have experienced in quite some time. Only complaint is that I wish it were closer to the nw side.

Our favorite restaurant! Exceptional food and a great wait staff! Husband is the Chef and the wife runs front of the house, both are as nice as can be. They always make you feel special for being there! We also love the Sunday Supper Club.

I feel like most “foodie” people often rate their local establishments with extravagantly over the top reviews. No I feel honored that this place graces our town. It’s out of our league. Magnifiqué. Honestly you could just go for a drink, a few apps, and one of the “fried thing of the day” and still leave palatably blessed. Their drinks are unique and utilize bottles rarely touched by most “nice” restaurants. The entrees are well thought and offer great variety. There WILL something for everyone in your dinner party—I promise you. Oh and get the burrata. Just get it.

As always, the 9th Street Bistro team never fails to impress us. We had the Fried Thing of The Day, jalapeño poppers and the pork belly. Both were delicious and had good amount of heat. Wife had the monkfish and I had the steak frites. The only downside to this place is I can only eat one entree before I’m full! Some folks complain about prices. But for us this is well worth the cost. For 4 drinks (2 a piece), 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 after dinner Lemoncellos it’s around $215 (without tipping). Chef Samir brings out at least one if not all of your food and tells you about it. The attention to detail on everything from the decor to the food. The entire wait staff is outstanding. For $200 you don’t get that anywhere. This team works hard to make sure every guest has the best experience. Don’t forget to tip! They share tips and work their butts off! Can’t say enough good things about this place. Menu rotates monthly so make sure you plan ahead!

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The food is amazing, taking a variety of things I've had before to a whole new level. The pork belly appetizer...wow! So delicious! Loved the bread with butter or pimento cheese. Both were delicious. And the service was off the charts. They take a team approach to serving and we're proactive in meeting our needs but also kind and interactive. We got to meet both owners and can't wait to go back! Oh and we also love their giving hearts (try the Philanthropist 😉)♥️♥️
