Additionally, 97 West Kitchen and Bar offers two unique Chef’s Table experiences, complete with fully customizable menus and beverage pairings. Our indoor Chef’s Table option seats up to 12 guests at a custom-made table in direct view of the exhibition kitchen, which allows for one-on-one interactions with Chef Grant. The outdoor Chef’s Table option seats up to 14 guests and is located along Marine Creek under a beautiful pergola and crystal chandelier, surrounded by lush greenery and our herb garden.

    The fried green tomatoes, red fish, 16 ounce steak and burger were really good. The side puréed purple sweet potatoes had no flavor, the purple side potatoes were strange to look at (they looked burned) and had no flavor. The brussel sprouts were good. My wife’s spinach salad was just “okay” and my wedge salad was good. We might be back…..just not sure yet.

    Uber Western-themed spot with decor that’s somehow tastefully curated. Our daughter gave the Brunch Burger a 10 out of 10. My Tostadas (crisp tortilla topped with fried eggs) was very tasty as well. This place is meat-centric— our bloody Marys came with a strip of bacon sticking out of them — and while there are no advertised vegetarian options on the menu, you can delete meat from your order. I nixed the chorizo on my Tostadas, for example. Service was excellent. The place was crowded and rather loud.

    Our server, drinks and the ambience were great as was our mac and cheese and french fries. Sadly, our salad and entrée were not. We ordered the little gem wedge. The lettuce was gritty and had not been properly washed and the pork belly was not crispy. Lastly, our burgers tasted like they had been grilled on the same griddle/pan as fish. We would come back for a drink at the bar, but sadly that is it.

    Jasmine was our waitress. We saw on two occasions that she walked right by our drinks that were ready at the bar, but didn’t bring them to us. There was a dirty napkin and plastic kid’s cup under our table (was not ours) Definitely get better service if you sit at the bar.

    Love this location! Fantastic Fort Worth ambiance, people watching fun. 97 West is one of our favorite brunch spots. A perfect intro for a day of Rodeo. Yummy eats & Outstanding service. Thanks Micheal for a wonderful visit.

    Food great, service was outstanding! Valet parking left something to be desired. I understand a lot of people were checking out of the hotel, but people requesting vehicles after us were prioritized and left before us. It took 30 minutes plus to get our vehicle.

    A BIG thank you to the hostesses! We were late for our reservation due to a bad accident on 35w on a Saturday night when they are by far their busiest, we were 30 minutes late and they still honored our reservation, we were grateful since we had drove so far to be there. Hayley our waitress was great as well, very polite and patient.

    Our server Larry was absolutely delightful. He was extremely friendly, had a great personality, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us at all times. My friend asked for her salad dressing on the side, and although he saw the kitchen must have missed it, he caught it & made the correction before her salad came to our table. Our drinks were always full, and he always had a genuine smile on his face. Our afternoon at 97 West completely exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to go back and try the Sunday brunch.

    Everything was exceptional! The filet was my favorite but we also tried the antelope. It was great, but if you are a steak lover, stick with the filet. I loved the grits that came with the antelope, I would definitely order that as it’s own side again. The Mac and Cheese and Brussel sprouts were both great as well!
