We ate outdoors and enjoyed perfectly paced appetizers and friendly service.
We had the lobster risotto. Excellent food and service.
We LOVE 95a and have been regular customers since they opened. However, when the pandemic hit, we were only ordering take out. We decided, after all of our family was vaccinated and we were ready for an early Mother's Day celebration, there was no question that the first restaurant we would go to in-person was 95a. The food is always consistently well prepared with fresh ingredients and the service is always exceptional!
We had a great meal and our waitress Molly a truly memorable experience.
Great place - loved the Poke Bowl. Parking is a bit of a challenge.
I was surprised to receive less fish than usual on my order of fish and chips. I opt out of the fries and got the house salad. I got two pieces of fish that looked liked it was cut in half. Very small portion for the price :(
Great even with social distancing and a hail storm!!!
Outside covered patio was lovely. Service was fantastic as well as the food.
Place has become a bit expensive for the amount of dishes ordered to its value. Party of two with a couple drinks, entries and tip..lucky to be out there for less than $100.
$20 for a bowl of Bolognese pasta is a bit of a stretch (yet tasted good) ..and then prices go up from there. Plates in the high twenties, in any restaurant, better be mind blowing good to get away with it when comparing to other spots worth it and get the repeat customers.
Excellent food, practiced Covid safety measures. Service was slow by waiter but others brought out food. The atmosphere was pleasant.
Have had bad luck with birthday get together's there. Last visit had the Glazed pork chop special. There were little hair like items in the glaze on the chops. Turns out it was the chefs glaze brush bristles falling apart being served. this place has been going down hill and continues to not be impressive.
Took 10-15 minutes to receive a glass of wine and beer. Service was consistently bad. We waited so long for our salads that we asked for some edamame; we were hungry. Salads arrived. We had eaten about 1/4 of salad when main course arrived. We asked that it be taken back and kept warm while we enjoyed the salads. About 2/3 of the way through salads main courses arrived again. My husband liked his cioppino; my salmon was very average. At no time did the waitperson ask about our meals or if we needed anything. Upon arrival I told our waitperson that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were not offered a birthday dessert. We will not go back.
Based on the reviews the experience we had was pretty shocking. The host was super helpful when we arrived for our reservation early, which was very nice. Once we were seated our server talked to us about the menu briefly and then left to give us a few minutes to read the menu. All fine, but she didn’t come back for 20 minutes, then when she did she apologized and said she had forgotten about us. She had walked through our seating area several times and completely ignored us, we tried to flag her down and she wasn’t really paying any attention. We ordered some appetizers and cocktails and they were all pretty good so we decided to stick around for entrees instead of just going somewhere else. We ordered the lamb and the ny strip for entrees. NY strip was ok, pretty low quality to start so that was a bummer. The lamb was completely well done even though it was ordered to be med rare, also completely under seasoned. Pretty bummed out about our experience based on the reviews.
So happy they put their delicious house made onion rings back on the menu!
The wait staff was prompt, polite, and friendly. The food was prepared perfectly, and it was delicious.
Such a comfortable restaurant with a delicious variety of choices on the menu. I’ve loved 95A for years.
Atmosphere outside is very nice. Food was quite good, we ordered different drinks and appetizers, and all got Pork Marsala entrees (3 for 4 people). Only negative was not enough bread or crudites for the crab dip. Doing a good job with Covid guidelines.
Good food, way overpriced, lacking service. Good if you get it to go
The dinner was really good! (we had the sirloin and Chicken Piccata.) Great choice of drinks and also tasty dessert. The service was friendly also. Great place to eat!
Always dependably fine. Our server Ashley was a particular highlight. The outdoor space is sublime and perfect for kids and dogs! It is our go-to place for special family occasions.
It was very busy inside, but our server kept things flowing. I was a little worried about the number and variety of items on the menu, but everything was well prepared and tasty.
Great service! Nice atmosphere, but the noise level on a Saturday at prime time can make for a less than pleasant visit. The food was tasty, but dishes that should have come out of the kitchen hot were barely warm. When you pay $8 for a small order of truffle fries they should at least be served piping hot.
Always a brunch favorite, we love their mimosas but a little sad about sushi going away.
Mary had a little lamb, who wore a dirty white t-shirt to her waitressing job.
95a has never failed to provide well prepared and seasoned dishes. Tonight was no exception. In my opinion 95a is the best overall restaurant in Lafayette.
Great food. Able to take small kids as well.
David and Holly were remarkable...funny, smart, engaged.
Great menu choices with food well prepared. Fun evening out for distanced dining. Kudos to the workers at 95a!
Great food and service! Always a pleasure to dine here!
Food was fresh and very tasty. Made up for the service which was slow.
Brunch was great
Great eclectic menu with many glutton free items. Terrific wait staff.
Four of us each had a delicious meal! Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive and even changed our friend’s order when she reconsidered.
We were very happy to return to 95a this week. We enjoyed the food (sushi) and drink and service very much!
we consider 95a our local and look forward to more in dining experiences in the coming months. :)
We thoroughly enjoyed Easter brunch at 45A. The service was excellent as was the food. The weather was perfect for dining outdoors.
Easter Brunch was delicious!
We had brunch there and the food was excellent (we had steak and eggs and a vegetable frittata . I also had a cocktail called Hot Blooded which is my new favorite drink. The service was good. Can't wait to go back.
We had a very enjoyable brunch. The crab benedict was good except I couldn't even cut through the bread base with a steak knife. I picked it up and ate it by hand.
Great food as always. Service was quick and efficient.
