I have recommended this location to several friends some of them were unaware of this restaurant they've told me they had a good time we've only done brunch we've never done anything else we look forward to it..
Everything was fine though in retrospect I think my medium prime rib was closer to well done.
I was looking forward to my Valentine's surprise for my partner, unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I want to note that the hostesses and bussers were great, however the server was abysmal. I know that it was a holiday, and that it would be busy, however I did not expect to wait 15 minutes for a drink order, and then another 15 to get my drink. I was patient until I saw that the server was excessively talking to other employees.
As a former server, I know how hectic a holiday can be, and I know that serving is a difficult job, but my patience was completely depleted by the time dinner arrived.
Usually, I enjoy the food, this time, not so much. Prime rib is fatty, but only a quarter of the serving was edible, the rest was extremely fatty.
Overall, I am very disappointed in my experience, as such, I will not be returning.
Was super busy for Valentines Day but seems they did not have enough staff on hand as we had to wait forever for food and even
Longer to just pay the check. Otherwise it was incredible.
Great view of Airport, enjoyed the food and service was great!!
We went on a busy night (valentines day) and service was still awesome and the food was excellent!!!
On Valentine's Day we celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary at the 94th Aero Squadron and they made it all the more special. Our hostess and server were very friendly and did an excellent job. The Salmon dinner and Filet Magnon dinner were quite simply spectacular. Thank you for making us feel like family and giving us an anniversary dinner to remember!
My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's, it was beautifully set up the menu was all inclusive and I had the 4 course scallop dinner my boyfriend had the rack of lamb. Everything was very delicious and our waitress was very sweet. I had a beautiful evening.
unique place for a date, jets arriving and departing just out your window, food is outstanding, ambience is cozy
Returned to my favorite restaurant to celebrate my birthday with family.
Sunday Brunch once again was very enjoyable. The food variety was great and the taste was good. The service from the Hostess, Manager and Service was friendly and competent.
Great atmosphere and yummy food. Lots of options for adults and kids. Had a thoroughly good time!
A great place to relax and enjoy. The concept is so unique and interesting.
Every thing was so nice and beautiful ,especially high class servive of waitress Samantha.
My guests were so happy!!! Thank you.
Was a little disappointed by the price for the food quality....wasnt expecting $50 a person for hard bread and food that sat for a while.
Good food, service.
Thank you for a great Lunch time of dining and relaxation. Great Food and Staff. Will be coming back again and again.
The server was never found when needed. Many times our glasses were empty and once we were done eating we had to go to the front to be able to close our check. We waited 20 minites at the table and the server never showed.
Servers are very attentive and friendly. Great customer service. Food was amazing
I love the ambience of this place and have been a few times in the past. However, this time the quality of the food made me not want to come back again. The flavor and quality seemed mediocre at best and not worth the price they charge by a long shot.
Went on holiday no planes
Excellent selection of good tasting food for Sunday Champagne Brunch.
The server forgot several basic things such as Olive oil and vinegar for our bread, and served mashed potatoes instead of the baked potatoes we asked for.
The Filet Mignon was overcooked and very dry. The portions are too small for the price.
A wonderful little gem in the Valley! Great food and wonderful ambiance with a unique view of a working airport.
This restaurant is a real gem in a part of the Valley barren of a spot to find an decent meal. The menu is basic offering prepared and served very well. It can be a surprisingly relaxing oasis on a wet winter night, after the happy hour regulars are back on their gridlocked journeys home and the surrounding industrial wasteland has gone dark for night.
A unique atmosphere, just a few feet from the runway at Van Nuys Airport with large picture windows and outdoor patio.
We had an awesome time and a fabulous dinner.
Sunday brunch was delicious and the service was excellent. Vast array of choices with every brunch option available.
Pricey, but worth it.
Brunch was delicious with a huge selection of foods ranging from omelettes to sushi to carving station to breakfast basics and everything in between. We enjoyed the views of the planes. Great location and a perfect experience.
It's been around forever and it doesn't seem like it's changed much, including the menu. But it's fun to watch the runway and see the old photos.
Vegetables were cold, steak was overcooked.
Not a great experience. We came for Dine LA. I would not recommend it other than to come for a drink and to watch the planes. The food was really disappointing. Our server was so nice but very, vert slow to bring drinks and forgot things. The quality of the food was not good. It felt rehashed. My husband’s French onion soup was ice cold and flavorless. His steak (filet) was tough and also bland. I had the chicken pasta and almost choked on a chicken bone. The calamari was so dry and overcooked it was basically indelible. The best thing was the wine which was a good value at 3 glasses for $15 and the cheesecake, which was competent and tasty enough. Just not a good experience, other than the fireplace and the planes, which is a really nice view. Really wanted to like this place.
I’ve been going there for years and it’s a place where people remember you. Cozy ambiance. Food and service are great! Highly recommend it.
Did dine la loved it
I took my client to celebrate his 94th birthday. He is a retired Lt. Col. US Air Force and loves everything aviation related. He thoroughly enjoyed watching planes take off and land as we ate our meal. Our waitress Nini was fantastic as was the manager and hostess. The food was quite good.
I had made reservations for 10:45am Sunday champagne brunch were a party of 2 adults and they ended up seating us between the patio exit door and a large party (looked like maybe 2 or 3 different families) with small toddlers which were running back and fourth and were really high energy they had other empty tables that they could of sat us in, but the food and service was great.
Celebrated a birthday, had a great time. Great tasting food, delightful ambiance
The food was outstanding and amazing quality and value! The service was a 6/7 out of 10 - just some small details that could have made this experience better. Still, we recommend this place and will return!
Quiet, no wait, great service and delicious food!
Very enjoyable. Especially the headsets so you can hear the flight tower.
