94th Aero Squadron - Miami Ratings and Reviews
We had a great time the only thing I would have change was the fact that my mom walks with a walker and there were stairs, and where we sat was too far for her to walk with the walker to get her food. So, we had to get her the food that we thought she would enjoy.
Other than that...it’s was very nice.
The few times we have gone were a nice experience. This time my wife's fish and shrimp tasted bad...as if they were not fresh. In addition we had a couple at a table nearby playing music videos on their phones very loud. So between the restaurant's music, the rude couple's music and the bad fish we did not enjoy our time. The restaurant offered a replacement meal for my wife and we took both our meals and left. Lastly the parking can be challenging, but through no fault of the management but the FL 836 road work.
Absolutely brilliant. We were looked after very well and spent 4-5 hours before our flight from MIA without any issues of being rushed from the table. They kept us with drinks and immaculate service. We had some plane spotters in the group and for that purpose alone, we had a perfect viewing seat. Can’t thank the staff enough for their service. Thank you.
We really enjoyed our meal. However one of our salads came with gobs of dressing despite ordering it with the dressing on the side. It also came with asparagus despite asking for "no asparagus".
Other than that, I recommend the restaurant and the location is perfect before or after going to the airport.
Last time I visited the 94th I was in high school. However, because of the known famous view of the airport and my husbands loves of airplanes I took him there for our Valentine's Day dinner. Upon making my reservation 2 weeks beforehand I called and stated that I would be waiting for a table by the window. Upon waiting 40 minutes (to be expected) we were taken to our seats and while I could see the window I was told that we could not be seated at the window because they were for parties of 4 only. Already upset we sat down and ordered. Upon the delivering of the 1st course to our table low and behold a couple had been seated at the window...party of 2. This was absurd considering I made my reservation 2 weeks before, I waited 40 minutes and paid the same as everyone else in there (close to $200) and no view. Don't think I will be back here. Unfortunate.
We had not been to the squadron in over 20 yrs +; had good memories in college ! Decided to have dinner for Valentines to reminisce and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the unbelievable service by Juan. Special highlights: beer cheese soup and lobster linguine ! Recommend for a trip down memory lane and solid culinary experience.
The Food was good. The waitress while attentive seemed angry. Later I overheard her saying she was there the night prior until midnight and now she was the only server. The place definitely has a nice appearance on the outside but the inside needs attention.
We went for Sunday brunch. Food was good - and plentiful. Service was impeccable - waitstaff on top of their game and genuinely nice. A couple of the food areas were underlit, hard to see the food. Too much waiting at the omelet station. Ran out of coffee of all things...But, overall it was a winner - I'll be back!
Each time I dine here I am very satisfied with the excellent Argentine cuisine. Other Latin dishes are on the menu and done well but Argentine stars! Across the highway from Miami International, earphones at each table let you listen in on real time conversation between pilots and tower. You can't miss the place, just look for the lights.
Location is extremely outdated. Area had a foul smell. Food had little taste, presentation was not great or looked inviting.
Instead of the server bringing you coffee you have to get up and serve yourself in their small cups and try not to spill it getting back to your table. Eggs Benedict were cold and egg was hard and overcooked.
Overall experience was very disappointing and did not find the value in the price we paid. Will not be going back!
We’ve eaten here several times before and never had an issue with the food. We were celebrating my mother’s 62nd birthday and it was a big disappointment. The service was great as usual but the food was horrible. The breakfast station was the best. Most of the meat tasted like freezer burn, the lasagna was Soggy, the beef was tough. We nearly ate and just wanted to get out. The quality of food has gone down since last time we were there..
We love brunch here. Its always great! Our waitress was not attentive. She was always getting lost. She didnt have her name tag and when we asked, she walked away. Our mimosas were horrible. She poured 98% champagne and 2% orange juice. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get our check. I had to go to the hostess post to request my check. This visit was horrible.
I had not been for over 10 years and it's basically the same. Always just "ok". It's fun to go because of the airport view and listening to the air traffic if you're into that (great for kids) but the food quality is always just a little step below what I consider memorable enough to entice me to come back more often. I was disappointed that their "full bar" was not able to make a Moscow Mule (very common drink these days). The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Again, the novelty of their theme is nice but just too many better choices in town to go back more than very occasionally.
Issue with bar area. we are seating in dining area and suddenly sounded like a dj and a megaphone. completely inappropriate in the setting. The dining area to right and bar needs to have sound barrier.
service was excellent except desert took way too long and coffee was served way before the desert arrived.
