94th Aero Squadron - Miami Ratings and Reviews
We’ve eaten here several times before and never had an issue with the food. We were celebrating my mother’s 62nd birthday and it was a big disappointment. The service was great as usual but the food was horrible. The breakfast station was the best. Most of the meat tasted like freezer burn, the lasagna was Soggy, the beef was tough. We nearly ate and just wanted to get out. The quality of food has gone down since last time we were there..
We love brunch here. Its always great! Our waitress was not attentive. She was always getting lost. She didnt have her name tag and when we asked, she walked away. Our mimosas were horrible. She poured 98% champagne and 2% orange juice. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get our check. I had to go to the hostess post to request my check. This visit was horrible.
I had not been for over 10 years and it's basically the same. Always just "ok". It's fun to go because of the airport view and listening to the air traffic if you're into that (great for kids) but the food quality is always just a little step below what I consider memorable enough to entice me to come back more often. I was disappointed that their "full bar" was not able to make a Moscow Mule (very common drink these days). The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Again, the novelty of their theme is nice but just too many better choices in town to go back more than very occasionally.
Issue with bar area. we are seating in dining area and suddenly sounded like a dj and a megaphone. completely inappropriate in the setting. The dining area to right and bar needs to have sound barrier.
service was excellent except desert took way too long and coffee was served way before the desert arrived.
Truly awful. My wife ordered beer cheese soup which arrived cold. Once warmed up it was quite nice. I had the caprese which was quite nice.
Waiter forgot the wine but we got it halfway through main course
My wife had the shrimp platter which again was served on a cold plate and was lukewarm at best. She resorted to mixing them with the baked potato which was the only good part of the meal
I had flank steak. Again on a cold plate. Tough as shoe leather. The manager comped the food as he did for folks on next table who also had issues.
The food was AMAZING. It’s a very quiet and romantic environment and I loved how you could actually listen to the current airport traffic control. My husband and I thought that was an added bonus to being next to an airport. It’s romantic and yet very scenic. Looking at airplanes land while enjoying the quiet dim lit restaurant was perfect.
It was late on Christmas Day and we needed a place to eat. The food was only mediocre. My NY steak and my daughters filet migon were served with greasy, wilted fries.
I returned mine. It was late and my kid was hungry so she ate hers. They came back crisp, but at $45, I shouldn’t have to send them back.
Manager was understanding and took 10% off bill.
Come the next morning have an email from OpenTable claiming I didn’t show for my reservation. Seems the hostess didn’t record my arrival in the system. Sent OT a link to a photo of my receipt. Waiting for some notice they’ve addressed the issue and loaded my points.
Holiday brunch is always good here . The raw bar and salad / cheese bar are awesome !! The unlimited mimosas are always flowing !! My only complaint would be the carved beef is usually tough and not very good . The entrees are good and there's usually a good variety of dishes but I wish mashed potatoes were there more often ! But all in all for the price I would definitely recommend it for a good brunch .
My family and I went for brunch on Sunday. The service and selection of food was very good. The food was delicious and you get unlimited mimosas included with your meal. However, the music is way too loud and the restaurant automatically added an 18.5% gratuity for a party of 4.
We came here for Brunch and had to come back for Dinner another day.
While it was loud and extremely busy, the service was excellent, the unlimited Champagne and Mimosas kept coming as advertised. They had one of the largest assortment of food I have seen at a brunch.
Dinner was a more quite affair, great views of the airport and still excellent service.
Saturday night past 9 PM and quite crowded. Parking was difficult with road construction all around. This restaurant is an institution here and has its charm but it has worn out and showing its age. I figure it gets by at night with the very low, nightclub like lighting. The place is screaming for a remodel - quick. Classic continental food (shrimp scampi/fillet mignon) was good. Kitchen/server timing was off; We received the ordered stuffed mushroom appetizer at the same time the entree was served. Waiter was attentive throughout meal . Dessert was key lime pie. A small piece but it was very nice. Quite tart as it should be.
We went to Aero Squadron for our anniversary brunch after my company had our Thanksgiving luncheon here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The value can't be beat. Brunch included unlimited mimosas which were flowing, our glasses were never empty! Tons of options, great service and a lively staff that made it a pleasant experience.
We celebrated my daughter's 24th birthday and it was great. Even though we did not have the view of the airplanes taking off and landing, our party of eight was more comfortable in this seating area and could easily converse with each other. This area also had music that was at the perfect volume. Our waiters were excellent and very pleasant.
WE BOOKED RESERVATIONS FOR WINDOW SEATING AND ARRIVED 5 MINUTES BEFORE OUR SCHEDULED 7:30 PM SLOT. THEY WALKED US TO SEAT US RIGHT AWAY BUT ANOTHER COUPLE TOOK OUR TABLE; THEY HAD MOVED FROM ONE TABLE TO ANOTHER. THE HOSTESS ASKED US TO STAND AND WAIT AND IN FRONT OF EVERYONE GAVE US A HIGH PITCHED ANSWER WHY WE COULD NOT BE SEATED AT THE TABLE WE REQUESTED DAYS BEFORE. IT WAS VERY EMBARRASING. IT WAS ONLY TWO OF US AND WE SPENT $140. SAD THAT A HIGH PAYING CUSTOMER WOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS. WE DO NOT PLAN ON RETURNING HOWEVER WE DID ENJOY THE MEAL. IT WAS TASTEFULLY PREPARED AND DELICIOUS. OTHER THAN THAT, YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO TRAINED TO THE SCALE OF THE AMBIENCE, FOOD AND PRICING. LOWER CLASS STAFF TO HIGH CLASS AMBIANCE AND FOOD. WHAT IRONY!
We made reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner. Is was delicious. The service was excellent. We were lucky enough to sit by the windows to watch the planes take off and land. We thought the prices were reasonable . We will return to try their regular menu.
