94 West Ratings and Reviews
Our visit was to celebrate my husband and I 13th year Anniversary. The hostest Kristen and our server Cory was absolutely amazing. They provided great costomer servise and conversation. They each provide great recommendation as this was our 1st time dinning at 94West. Great Food and people.
Service was mediocre. After we were seated it was a very long time before we seen our server. However once she did come by and take our drink order, and bring them out...she never came back to our table to check on us. For a brunch buffet there was not a great selection of food to choose from. There was the basics waffles eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage. There were a few other choices but nothing unique, or worth coming back to this restaurant for. What caught our eye on the menu was the crab legs. However they were extremely bland. Only great item was the waffles. Needless to say we will not be coming back for an overpriced bland meal with terrible service at this restaurant.
I've heard great things about 94 West but I must admit I was a little bit disappointed. The food was the good but not the best. I think it was the day I went, which was a Sunday night. I heard the Sunday brunch was delicious, the next time I attend it will be for the brunch.
Went early with little kids thinking we could get in and out and we were there 2hrs! It was fairly empty when we arrived and started to fill in as we dined but wasn’t super busy by any means to warrant taking 1.5hr to get a couple salads and a sandwiches on the table. The food was just okay.
Excellent customer service... Great atmosphere... and wonderful food!
From having the door held opened as I entered and holding a very pleasant conversation with the hostess, to the recommendations and service given by our waiter...the lunch menu was very reasonably priced, and the quality, presentation and taste of the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
Wasn't really pleased with the area in which we were seated. I did ask for an intimate section via opentable for my 16 year old birthday however it was in the corner with the wine racks and a very tight space. The food and server were okay not impressed but I . Wouldn't say I would return for dinner.
Lovely experience. This was my 1st time at 94West and the service and food was great. I especially want to send a special thank you to our server (I don't remember her name), she explain this was her 2nd week there and she was a real gem. If all servers are like her, repeat visits are warranted.
I have not been to this restaurant in 15 years. It was pleasantly awesome. I took a friend from Indiana. She loved it and said that she was going to bring her husband and she is hard to please. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Her chicken picata was ample enough for her to take some to hubby.
I will return.
The food was very good. We had the pork chops steak and Alfredo. There is no dedicated gluten free menu however we are use to adjusting. Salad did come out with croutons but was replaced quickly. My only suggestion would be since there is not a GF menu staff may want to make suggestions or educate the dinner ie...broccoli with lemon butter sauce may have been thickened or dressings may have had gluten...
Figured we would give it a shot for our anniversary. People in resteraunt loud and somewhat rude. A couple even had their phone plugged in wall and on floor. Ringing non stop and not answering it. Food came out fast but was not worth the prices. The filet had a bunch of fat on it and was not cooked how ordered. Waitress was nice but made a few off color comments for a more upscale resteraunt as advertised. Would of been fine in a bar atmosphere. Glad we tried it but will not be back
The food at your restaurant is tasty. It is not excellent like some of the downtown Chicago restaurants however it was good. The selection and the menu was adequate and location for what we needed work out well. What made the entire day was our server. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was pleasant cheerful friendly funny attentive to our needs personable pleasurable and let a member of our family within the first 5 minutes. Her presence definitely made the trip five star. I'm not sure if I would come back just for the food to be honest however I definitely would come back because of the service.
Love the cuisine, the service was great. I wish they had a private room for private parties. There was a bridal shower next to us. My family had become comfortable sitting and didn't want to move but regretted the decision as the shower games began and the party became louder. Management offered to move us but we were already seated and adjusted and hoped the noise level would die down, unfortunately it got louder. Private parties should have private rooms.
We arrived on a Saturday evening an hour ahead of our reservation which wouldn't have been necessary. Great waitress and staff, attentive and knowledgeable, above average American steak house menu, steaks and ribs were excellent. At last, we found a place where conversations in normal voices are possible and pace is unhurried. On the way out, we looked in to the bar, where a rockin' blues band already played to a good crowd by 7:00 pm. We'll be back.
I heard a few nice things about 94West , so I chose it as a out of the way spot for a low key birthday dinner. I was impressed with the ambience, live entertainment on one side and none on the other, great wait staff and great food. Garlic and butter shrimp were fantastic, ribeye steak and lobster tail was awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an upscale experience without all the hassle and fuss.
WAITED FOR MAIN COURSE WITCH CAME APPROX 1 HOUR AFTER WE WERE SEATED.2 OF THE 4 PEOPLE AT THE TABLE HAD APPITZERS THEN ALL HAD A SALAD.4 OF US HAD LOBSTER THAT CAME ALMOST AN HOUR AFTER WE WERE SEATED AND IT WAS'NT DONE AND COLD. IWOULDNT RECOMEND THIS PLACE.$280.00 INCLUDING TIP.
I've driven by this restaurant many times so when my girlfriend mentioned her birthday I was eager to suggest this restaurant, upon arrival I loved the outside seating with the waterfall as well as the inside ambiance, and the host was wonderful. I must admit I was taken aback by the food I wasn't impressed at all , a pure waste of money and disappointment for me and the birthday girl. Unfortunately, I will not dine her again but I still love the restaurants ambiance.
We expected fine dining only to be seated in the bar section. The dining room was dark and unoccupied. Overall, the quality of the food was good. One of our party did not like the entree. When we inquired, we were told that was the way it is prepared; however it was not stated on the menu. After speaking to a manager, we ended up very disappointed. When asked for a different entree, we were told "no". Finally, we explained what we wanted, but by then the interest in staying was diminished. We asked for the bill to be adjusted. An adjustment was made; however not proportionate to the meal. I feel we over paid for what we received. What was to be a celebration turned out to be a horrible experience. This was our first visit to this establishment and definitely our last.
