The coolest rooftop bars i have ever experienced! Firepits igloos, string lighting and fantastic view. Highly recommend. $300min for igloo. Ahi tuna tacos and squash bacon Flatbread to die for

However we plan to re-open the dining room in early December which will have additional menu items. My husband and I were looking to have a nice dinner on the rooftop with great views. We had looked at reviews and at the menu listed online before making reservations. When we got to the restaurant for our reservation the menu was not the menu we had seen online and instead was mainly snacks. This was not what we expected, we had eaten light all day and had dressed up to enjoy a nice dinner together. When we asked the staff we were told the menu had been changed that day. We ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to go. Very disappointing.
Due to COVID19, menu was Very limited; however our food order was excellent. Apparently it was first day of new menu and there were no dessert items at all for us to order which was disappointing. We would definitely go back even with the limits we experienced. Atmosphere was great.
Awesome to eat outside with the view and a toasty warm heater right next to us. Drinks were good and food was excellent.
We made a reservation weeks in advance for our wedding anniversary, and put that in the reservation notes. We arrived early and they sat us at an extremely uncomfortable bar high top table outside and then nobody came to take our drink order for 35 minutes. The guy who did come to take our order eventually seemed to be the only one doing anything and he was very apologetic. But then, he took the drink order and it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks because they didn't have a bartender. There was a guy working behind the bar outside who watched us sit for that entire time, took the orders of 2 other parties sitting near us, but always avoided eye contact with us. I guess we weren't in his section, but he could have at least acknowledged us. A manager guy in a nice suit was walking around a bit too, but again, only our waiter seemed to be doing anything. Instead of having dinner, we made a reservation elsewhere and paid for our drinks, tipped the poor overburdened server, and left. We won't be going back.
Took 2 hours to get food and when we did it was burnt and cold.
Fantastic service! Delicious food. We loved the rooftop. Accessing the restaurant was a little difficult. Someone from the hotel had to assist with the elevator. Will return. Good experience.
Our waitress was terrible, We love the place and the food was great but the only thing wAs the waitress she didn’t know what she wAs doing. We will come back
I used to love 8up but the quality has diminished drastically. I got the dry rub wings for dinner, which I have had on several other occasions. Unfortunately when they came to the table they were dried out and basically petrified. When I asked to have them redone the manager told me that that’s just how they were and basically told me my expectations were too high. The Caesar salad left a lot to be desired as well. On the bright side our server was amazing and did a great job trying to show great customer service despite her managers attempts.
The food was great! I had the Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Our server wasn’t that attentive and it didn’t seem to be busy. We were seated outside so I’m not sure if he had tables inside and how many. It was almost like we had to chase him down. Also we sat at a high tip table that was small and because he didn’t come around often we had no space because he failed to clear the table throughout our dining experience. We had to ask him to do that as well. I love the vibe of the rooftop but they could work on training for the staff.

We had an amazing experience watching the Derby here - great ambiance and friendly people. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and Dave the bartender is the absolute best! I am vegan and was able to get their veggie pizza with no cheese and it was great - I will definitely make it a point to come here next time I'm in Louisville, love this place!
Went to enjoy food and atmosphere early only had one server with 46 covers and manager was continually seating him, felt bad my wife never got her food, couldn’t get refills on drinks. Complained to manger she didn’t care, won’t be back. I will say my halibut was really good. But my wife looking at me with no food and drink for 40 minutes ruined it all. Learn how to manger covers and walk ins.

I gave the food a 3 star because we didnt even stay long enough to eat because or our experience. The service was TERRIBLE. We made a reservation and when we approach the hostess she rudely tells us to hold on. She proceeds to dance and talk to the bar tender making drinks and we were passed by several times before a manager came over and seated us. Took 20 minutes to get a glass of water. The view was okay..not breathtaking, but decent and I'm sure it would have been even better once the sun went down but we were so aggravated about the treatment that we got up and left. If bad service doesnt deter you, I'm sure this place would be worth a visit but, unfortunately, service is my #1 concern and this service was an epic fail. We will definitely NOT be back. They have alot if potential but their staff needs an overhaul or a more training in customer service and hospitality for sure!
This place was not what my wife and I expected. Overpriced food, poor service the only thing good was the drinks.
We went for my son’s actual 16 birthday. We included that in our reservation notes. We asked for them to make any fuss that was possible. It was not mentioned by them, only by us. They closed out our bill before we were able to order dessert. Our server was very uninterested in us. We had to ask him to order drinks, appetizers and entrees. Our entrees were brought out 20 minutes apart.
On a positive note, the cheeseburgers that my husband and son ordered were very good.
I think in non covid times this place would be even better.
I was extremely disappointed with the limited menu and food quality. I had heard such great things about this place and was sad about the experience. We requested an outside table but they did not have any available in the shade so we sat inside. Perhaps we will try again post COVID.
John, our server, hardly came to our table all evening, when we asked for condiments he would take 20-30 minutes to bring us them, he made rude comments to us, and when we asked him why we were not being served he told us he was spending time at his other tables. It was very upsetting because we watched him be very attentive to all of his other guests, but intentionally did not come near our table. We had to ask for our bill multiple times before we got it.

The service was absolutely horrible. We had our food come out 20 minutes apart with no explanation, never got plates for our pizza despite asking, never got waters refilled, never got checked on or offered another drink, had to flag down waiter for Bill, then had to get up and go to the kitchen to ask for a box for leftover pizza after asking two people for one. Probably never had service this bad before. No attempt to even try to be friendly. They did seem understaffed but never even tried to explain or apologize.
Food was good but they’re operating on a limited menu currently which I was disappointed in seeing but TOTALLY understandable given the circumstances! We sat outside and they had great precautions set in place!
Wine selection is not good. Amazing atmosphere but the website doesn’t show the updated restrictions on the limited food menu.

Perfect little area for cocktails and outdoor lounging. The cabana was perfect and The weather was absolutely beautiful. Perfect little bar menu to order from. The food was great and the service was top-notch.

I requested outside eating and I was seated inside with the sun shining right in 2 of our eyes, even though I went up and asked for outside. Then a group after mine was seated outside. Our food did not come out together, my husbands pizza was cold by the time 2 of our burgers came out and we had to ask for the 4th meal that came out at least 10 mins later then it was not even good. The waitress tried to make up for it and offered us dessert but you didn’t even have the dessert on the menu.
I do apologize for your less then great experience, as this was our first week opening under the new covid guidelines we are working diligently to ensure every guest has a great experience. I am sorry we let you down on Saturday. As we are growing in the new restrictions and guidelines we are quickly making adjustments to enhance our guests visits with us. First night opening after CoVid-19. It took 30 mins to even get a waiter to the table to take our drink order. However, they were very understaffed and not as prepared for the diners. Overall our waiter made up for it. Trial and error for a very unprecedented time. We made sure to tip generously regardless of the delay in service

Management should have stepped up to assist servers on the roof top. The team was clearly not prepared for their first day open.

The restaurant was closed so we had to go elsewhere.
For the price highly disappointed. Bartender acted like she didn't want to be there. Took 20 minutes to get a menu (while seated at the bar) only after asking for it. She gave us one menu, there were two of us.
Food was meh. Atmosphere was probably the best thing overall, but for how much this place costs honestly I could have gotten better food and service at a dive bar.

Have been here before and it was excellent. Not this time. Service was terrible. Our “waiter” should find a more appropriate occupation. The food was not 5 star quality The managers are rude and obviously unaware of what has happened to their restaurant. Use to love this place. After this evening we won’t be back.
Food was ok, nothing was bad but I’ve had similar food at half the price. Small portions and expensive. It is a unique space and all cool kids on social media seem to think the rooftop area with igloos etc is the place to be photographed. So if you want a great post, definitely check it out. If you’re looking for a great food experience, try somewhere else.
