The passion is to combine local Ohio produce with sustainable seafood to produce high-quality cuisine that is unforgettable. Speaking of seafood, the 89 Fish & Grill menu is full of options including lobster mac and cheese, hot crab dip, parmesan crusted walleye, crab-crusted tilapia, sake-marinated sea bass, calamari and a number of surf and turf options that include an 8-ounce filet. For the landlubbers, there is a New York strip, honey-brined pork chop and Marsala chicken. Private dining events can also be accommodated at 89 Fish & Grill with a lunch or dinner banquet menu.

    I made a reservation through Open Table 45 days in advance since this restaurant usually fills quickly during tradeshows at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Open arrival, the restaurant was out of business. I never received any emails from Open Table with a cancellation. This was a big inconvenience.

    Restaurant is permanently closed. Open table did not send any cancelation notice prior to our arrival. This was very disappointing since we made a reservation online 3 months in advance.

    Our waitress was polite and eager to serve us, but the food itself was not great for the price. We had the calamari and fried brussel sprouts and they tasted like old frying oil. The rest of the meal was just ok. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant for another meal. The rest of the staff didn't look like they were happy to be working either. Disappointed with the experience overall. The 89 house salad was delicious though.

    The food was very good and so was the bar service. The price on the other hand was very high. We were there for a special occasion so I wasn't shell shocked, but it was certainly higher than I expected.

    Great place with lots of light, seating and comfortable charm. Our server seemed busy and things were a tad slow to arrive, but she was most lovely and probably had more tables than most nights. We were finished in plenty of time before theater reservations. Our food was good, hot and all seemed fresh. Will go again and glad to discover this sort of hidden spot!

    My mother was visiting for the weekend, and I decided I wanted a more upscale restaurant to celebrate Mother's day (early). Our server was friendly and very helpful with my two younger kids. The specials were terrific (Filet with Oscar sauce) and the sides were small but flavorful. I was surprised how few people were at the restaurant, with the quality of service and food. Wine list was moderate in size, but a few good selections. I plan to eat there again, and will have business meetings here also.

    Food was fair- not hot when served but not time to re-order due to show at Nationwide. Table was awkward. The servers kept handing me my food over the table given the space between the tables was tight! Trying to squeeze in more tables lead to my dinning experience be less than enjoyable. I finally complained and the server walked all the other tables to serve us on that side. No big deal but not going back.
