I prefer to eat in the restaurant side versus the bbq table side. The food is delicious and neither under or overcooked. I always get one of the rice entrees and I've never been disappointed. Most of the entrees seem to be enough food to share between 2 people. The bun bombs are amazing. The servers are all very nice and personable. They are also relatively fast. I would highly recommend making a reservation.

This was our 4th year coming for our annual holiday party and, as always, it was a great time. Food is always good and the service is great. It can get very busy in there, so it can take a minute for the staff to be able to get things for you, but it's well worth it

843 Korean BBQ & Sushi can accommodate groups of 8-10 people but they can NOT serve them in a timely manner. Suggest going in small groups so you don't watch each other eat their food because the staff can't prepare the entire order at one time. They only have one sushi chef for the entire restaurant which makes it difficult to eat as a group. The servers are nice but have too many other customers to tend to so you might be waiting awhile for the simple things.

My family and I went here for the last night of our holiday vacation. No problems with securing reservations and we were seated as soon as we arrived. My husband and I loved the ambiance. We had an excellent waitress - she noticed that I kept asking about the heat of the food so she brought out mild banchan for me. The food was excellent - good sized portions, exceptional favors. We will come here again when we visit Charleston SC in the future.

Nothing too personal but we come all the time but this one time our waitress didn’t provide us with the best service. We had to ask for certain things multiple times for her to remember. When she left she will be gone for a long time before returning and forgetting 1 of the items we asked for. I know she’s a good waitress because I’ve seen her before but she messed up too many times for us. I don’t remember her name exactly but I believe it started with B. She’s a skinny smaller white woman with glasses, brown hair. We were in the BBQ side. Otherwise, usually we have great service. Sorry if this sounds rude in anyway, I was just really disappointed this one time. Food was good tho. The kimchi was lacking tho, too watery not fermented long enough.

This is not the first time we have eaten at this establishment. Other times we have eaten here everything was good. This time the food we got you could tell that the rice cakes (ductbookie) were old. Sent it back and had them make it again with the same result. The beef bulgogie didn’t have a lot of flavor and the katsu sauce was some kinda yuck gravy not actual katsu sauce. So needless to say we went her for my wives birthday and the food was not that good. The one thing we got that was good was the kimchi fried rice if someone decides to eat here to try it. Don’t think we will be going back to eat here again.

This was our first time at any Korean BBQ. The waitress was helpful, attentive for the most part, and helped us get started cooking the meat. Beef bulgogi and ribeye were a huge hit. I think it’s a bit pricey as is, but also charging $5 for plain white rice seemed a bit over the top. Music was noisy in places but all in all it was a good experience.

This place was selected based upon the request of a family member for their birthday. It was so disappointing. The cuts of meat they offer for the price is horrible and we even did the “Premium AYCE”. The apps and sides took forever to come out and repeats (despite ordering) never happened as promised. The ambiance is lacking, the place is dirty, and the food gross. If you want to spend this kind of money, GO DOWNTOWN or to Nexton. I would not be surprised if this place got shut down by a health inspector. Absolutely horrid.

5 ladies - with a reservation - 20 min to be seated with plenty of open tables - “veggie platter” for korean BBQ was a single serve bowl with 2 mushroom slices - 4 zucchini slices 2 asparagus 2 sweet potato slices - really - The pork belly was spoiled whic we did not realize until it was cooked with our other meats - one tong one shear - very unsanitary and a huge disappointment. The beef and chicken bulgogi were great that is all - not worth the $$$ -

We did not know we needed to cook our own meat!!! The waitress was very kind and she did it for us!! But there was no seasoning for the meat!!!! We had sauces to pour on top after the cooking, but the meat was already cooked... they need to provide basic seasoning like salt/pepper. I think they need to educate the client a bit...

We sat outside on the patio and ate at the experience Korean BBQ table. I took my college daughter and two suitemates there. It was all our first time, and we all had a wonderful time and a very good meal. It is a little pricey, but you do get a lot of food and is a nice way to try several different items. We were lucky and had the entire patio to ourselves. The patio is covered, but no fans; luckily, it had rained earlier and with it being a little later the temperature was pretty nice.

My wife and I go to 843 on a regular basis. Music can be a bit loud depending on where you sit. But, the restaurant is generally pretty nice. We usually eat on the BBQ side of the restaurant, and absolutely enjoy it. But, the wife wanted bibimbap, so we had something different. Food was good, not what I’m used to from Korea, but still tasty.

Our first ever visit to 843 Korean BBQ, for my daughter's birthday and we were blown away. We ordered bulgogi of course but also multiple sushi rolls and we were not disappointed at all. I highly recommend and will definitely be back next time we are in town.

The place was dirty. The silverware we got was nasty and had dried up food stuck to them. They brought us a plastic jug of water and food was floating around in there. Bathrooms gross. Tables gross. I’ll never go back.
