   801 Chophouse serves the best steaks in Washington. That would be enough, but the service is every bit as good as the steaks. Our server was attentive, and he had a great sense of humor to boot! The free valet parking makes it easy, too! We will be back again soon!

   Wow what a great night this was. The service is fantastic. Friendly, smart and incredibly responsive. The appetizers of bacon wrapped shrimp, and the shrimp cocktail were delicious. I was craving prime rib and was told this is the place to go. Well that tip proved to be 100% accurate. It was cooked to perfection, and the taste was off the charts. I have to say this place was a hidden gem. You have to give this chophouse a try. You will thank me. Enjoy!

   My second time at 801 in the last 2 months and I'm very underwhelmed.. The drinks and service are the standouts here. The food, especially the steak is incredible flavorless. It's confusing to me exactly what they are doing in terms of seasoning, aging, and preparing. I'm not sure I've had a more flavorless steak ever. Fora $650 business dinner, I couldn't have been more embarrassed. Last time I'll go there to eat.

   We had a wonderful experience dining here! Foremost our server Grant was terrific, very warm and welcoming, great advice on our menu questions, impeccable and unobtrusive service, and we had a lovely chat learning that he grew up and still lives in the same nearby town where we’ve raised our family. We went for the fixed price Sunday Supper which was perfect, we loved our choices (classic wedge salad , prime rib, petite filet, a decadent warm brownie/vanilla bean ice cream/pitcher of warm chocolate sauce) and the portions were very generous-a great value! The decor is classic high end steakhouse with lots of comfy booths, and a beautiful bar that looks like a popular spot for solo diners. We also really enjoyed the background music! Very cool mix of retro tunes at a just right volume. All in all our best dining out experience in a long time! Will definitely return for happy hours, special occasions, brunch menu looks good, or -just for a great meal!

   If you're looking for a restaurant with good food, service and ambiance, 801 Chophouse is a great choice. This was my 2nd visit and I enjoyed it just as much as the first.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Not only was it great food, it was quite the steak 'experience' and is a perfect place to go for a delicious, special steak. This was the 1st time we'd been here as we'd just rec'd. info. in the mail about this restaurant. We were told that they'd been there since Aug'24 but we did not know! We feel that they should advertise/market more so that others are aware that they're there. It's a wonderful restaurant!! We look forward to going there for Sunday Brunch soon!
