Cozy red wing back chairs provide guests with an intimate escape from the world, 'Mad Men' atmosphere best describes the lounge and it's modern menu of classic house made cocktails, while listening to the best jazz, performed up-close and personal.

Two bowls (VERY small - I'd hate to see what their "cup" looks like) of clam chowder, a caesar salad for two, and 3 drink with tip was $120. Yikes! The food WAS pretty tasty - but far too expensive, I think.

Wilf's staff made us feel as if we were long-time, cherished customers on our first visit. Weary from a train ride, we were made to fell like honored guests. Good food, warm ambiance, lovely timeless piano music.

We were charmed when, despite having made reservations in the dining room even though we were actually there for the music, we were found a table closer to the music, actually in the bar area. So we were very pleased.

The music was nice but not the Wurlitzer I went for. Food was not as good as in the past. Part of my dish was cold and dish did not match the price. Love the old charm of the place.

Absolutely darling place, with the best service, perfectly sized portions of perfectly cooked food with a decent variety of options, and relaxing, intimate ambience... But also a higher noise level than the average restaurant with the jazz and talking. Expect to pay for the quality, too! Not a cheap place — a NICE one. Very dim light (my dad had to use the candle to read his menu!) It was worth it, overall. Such a treat! P.S. the cioppino is a flavor winner.

11 $ for sparkling water before you get the menu they ask if you want it without any knowledge it's going to be a charge at all they don't communicate this at all I was completely caught off guard with this. The customer service was great and out waiter was great at his job he deserves praise for his efforts he explained how everything was cooked and had full knowledge on every question I and my husband asked. I would recommend you get your bill before 7pm otherwise you will be charged for your seat it will give you An out if you don't like the music without having to pay an additional 6$ per person (I am not saying the music was bad I'm saying it gives an out)

Been going to Wilf’s for 25 years … Tony Pacini Trio is outstanding … the perfect reason to go! The lamb shank was tremendous, the salmon not so much. The waiter … border line rude. Expect higher standard and greater attention to detail for the price tag.

Great service. I had a short time before catching my bus. My salad and dessert came up very quickly, ready to start and also to take-away half for later. Salad with shrimp and crab was tasty; homemade dressing was excellent. Two slices of really good sourdough. My server helped charge my phone. The soft jazz was nice background music. This is a good spot for a quick meal, and would be even better for date night.

Old School surroundings and vibe, but a nice compliment and counterpoint to other venues in Portland. It's always a pleasure to go, listen to some music and enjoy the attentive service in a beautiful space. It's a great Christmas time venue also, since the decorations create a festive atmosphere.
