800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen
Our pizza was excellent and we’ll definitely return for a quick, high quality meal
800 degrees was solid. Food and service were a solid B+
Great restaurant we loved the ambiance and open kitchen. The cauliflower pizza and the burrata was great! The steak was just okay but the spicy rigatoni was very good. Would recommend
Awesome food at reasonable price! Cool, hip ambiance. Waiter was awesome!!
We visited with 3 hungry kids after a trip to the top of the Empire State Building. The staff was sweet, attentive and accommodating, the wood-fired margherita pizzas arrived swiftly and were delicious. We also tried the tuna sashimi, which was nicely spiced with a drizzle of olive oil — just had a little too much salt — and wood-fired broccoli with lemon and olive oil. Wonderful. Prices were reasonable for NYC. Definitely a great addition to the Herald Square area.
We had an early reservation to 800 Degrees, wanting to catch dinner before a concert at the Garden. We werre given our choice of seating when we arrived. The restaurant was fairly empty. It definitely filled up while we were there. The food was excellent. We shared a margherita pizza as an appetizer. Delicious. Very thin crust. I had a half rotisserie chicken and my husband had the pasta. Both large portions and excellent. The only complaint we had was our server was also the bartender. She was lovely, but as the restaurant got busy, so did she, and it was hard to get service towards the end.
We do plan on returning. Great spot to go with kids (or not); before something at the Garden; or just if you are in the area.
I really enjoyed the food here! Big shareable portions was if you can’t decide on one thing. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were attentive and detailed.
Definitely great taste and value, very convenient location in Midtown.
Excellent food! Would definitely come again! The only reason I have not given this restaurant 5 stars in all aspects is because it needs a bit more ventilation. The cooking smell is overpowering to the ambiance, but overall impressive dishes.
The food was awesome and reasonably priced. Attentive service.
The food and service were excellent as always!
They handled my large group well. We were 12 people on a Saturday night. We split a bunch of pizzas from vegan to meaty and everyone was satisfied. The honey badger pizza was delicious.
Great service, fantastic food.
$18 artichoke joke. Clam pizza had 6 tiny clams and was way too spicy covered in red chiles. Meatballs and sauce tasted like processed frozen packaged meat. Inexperienced staff literally running through the restaurant with a hovering floor manager constantly telling them what to do. This is their first location in NY, Im guessing the last. Go back to LA.
Place was empty at 8:00and we soon realized why. Food was barely marginal. Pizza was cooked earlier, warmed and served; pasta tasteless. The staff was pleasant but there were only 3 tables to serve. Nice looking establishment but food needs a lot of improvement.
Nos encanta a todos ir allá tanto acá como en Miami o LA es excelente
We arrived late- but were seated quickly. The pizza was decent- nothing spectacular but good for a couple of hungry tourists.
Everything was delicious but a little overpriced. Servers were attentive to our party of 17
There is something for everyone here.
Great location pre Garden events
Food was wonderful. Nice and unique preparation. Appetizers we plentiful. Cauliflower, salmon Greek Salad and Beet Salad were wonderful. Rigatoni has Zip to it not too spicy honeycomb lasagne Were delightful. The salmon and Tuna mains were also very nice. The noise however was difficult to manage. I would go back and see if it was a one time situation.
We went for a Sunday brunch and we found out that lunch menus are only available during the work week. We went there expressly for the items on the lunch menu, so we were disappointed. The replacement meals were fine, nothing spectacular, but good. Service was excellent.
Absolutely fantastic, this is a must the lasagna is out of this world.
Very good I really loved it
Had a great time here after checking out a local attraction around the corner. Pizza was delicious and fresh.
We loved it so much we are going back a second time. Food was delicious. Pizza out of this world. Very flavorful.
The waitress was super sweet and accomdating for the kids in our group. Plus the food was delicious!
Family meal for 5 at 6pm on a Friday. Something for everyone and a very convenient location
Christmas in New York City.
We were supposed to have a large crowd which they were easily able to accommodate. Ended up as only 5 of us. I’m not sure the menu is conducive to large crowd.
Lugar muy agradable, atmósfera relajada, buen servicio y buena comida a precios razonables
What an unexpected surprise! Christmas Eve and a party of 7 - we were seated promptly and the service was attentive - a very happy and helpful server! She steered us in the right direction when we were choosing between entrees - and also had good input with the wine. Thee was a glitch with one child's meal and it was quickly and graciously corrected. Delicious mussels, spicy rigatoni and the truffle pizza was a hit! We'll definitely be back.
The food was served very nicely and it was of an outstanding quality! The tomatoes in the greek salad were sooo delicious! Highly recommended!
Great restaurant to go with a large group. We had 9 family members. We were able to select entrees or share pizzas. The pizza was delicious! It was fresh and tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. I would definitely eat here again when I visit NYC!
I loved the concept of this place. And the menu is really great. That’s where it ends. The execution of the food is, sadly, talentless and below average. The server dumped all of the food at the same time without spacing it or sequencing it. The ambiance is poor such that there is an identity crisis between the concept menu and prices, and the ambiance service and food. Overall - disappointment.
This is a great spot. From the moment the owner welcomed us in to the shared chocolate pudding and bread pudding. Delicious pizza, superb roasted cauliflower, incredible oysters and an amazing Greek salad. The service was equally delicious and attentive.
We had a pre holiday celebration dinner there few weeks ago. It was packed and crowded, we didn’t mind of waiting
Bc it’s holiday season, but bottom line is the food is terrible
I went 800 degree for lunch all the time, their food quality not stable, but the dinner was the worst. Pizza is all cold and wet, meat has no taste, roasted cauliflower is all burned and sauce is cold. So disappointed
Dinner at 800 Degree Woodfired Kitchen was a great choice when in MidTown for MSG event— nice decor & food was excellent —extensive variety to choose from and the dishes we shared were large portions( Greek Salads, LaFreida Meatballs, prosciutto-arugula-burrata pizza). Service was prompt and no delay to get to our event, with 12 min walk from PennStation and to The Garden. Beware of servers /bussers hovering to clear your dish before you are finished with it. Also, seating was a bit too close to parties on either side— but we have had worse seatings in NYC. Don’t let that scare you away, though— overall a 4.5 for casual, prompt dinner in midtown.
Great place for drinks and delicious pizza sharing with good friends!
Exceptional pizza!!! However, if you’re not into loud, teenager pop hits, you may want to opt for another pizza parlor. It kind of detracts from the overall experience. Server was attentive and friendly though.
We made a reservation for 8 people just 30 minutes in advance on a Saturday night. I was super happy they were able to accommodate us at the last moment. The main course took some time to come out, but we were offered dessert and an impressive fruit platter on the house, which was a really nice surprise! Overall the staff were attentive and we had a great time. I recommend the Burrata pizza-yum.
