Tasty, fresh food. Numerous options for vegetarians.
I enjoy the tavern, I’m glad they are open for seating now. The food is good and they have a pretty good variety of options. Also the staff and management is great.
The food was superb, service not so much. Late lunch for 2, around 4 on a Tuesday so there was barely anyone there. We walked in and played eye hockey w/the two available bartenders, both of whom ignored us until I approached one to see about being seated. Annoying and unnecessary. Once seated, the meals and drinks were on point but we did feel like we were being rushed. COVID’s got a lot of these reservations on 1.5-2 hr restriction but if there’s no one there...
So happy to be able to eat there again! Enjoyed the pub table seating at the window - best of all worlds - outdoor dining with AC!!!
Lots of variety on menu, attentive and friendly stAff
This is q perfect setting for a date night or hanging out with friends. The service staff is impeccable and attentive. I have nothing but high praise for 730 Tavern
Best food, service, & drinks! So glad to be back and really glad they are a survivor.
Delicious food, tons of allergy friendly options (gluten and dairy and vegan). Staff was very kind.
It was sooo nice!
I went with my husband for dinner. We loved the food, the music and the vibration of the 730 Tavern.
we went there and tried dine out boston menu. The food was nice and the restaurant was great for lunch.
The hostess was not attentive. However, the food , portion and value were good.
Note: parking can be difficult.
Absolutely loved the place. Th service was great and it is a perfect spot for Sunday Brunch!
I went for Dine Out Boston, after the lunch rush.
The maple chicken salad was a delicious mix of flavors. The chicken itself, and my salmon entree, seemed a bit dry and overcooked, but flavorful.
A cheerful mix of regulars were there.
We went for brunch on a Sunday morning. It is usually impossible to find a table for 5 in Cambridge on a Sunday morning at 10:30. So finding a table was good. In fact, the place was empty when we arrived. The array of food was the usual eggs, potatoes, bacon, pancakes, French toast in warmers along with an omlet station. There was also a selection of cereals, fuit, breads and rolls, desserts, and a carving station. Unfortunately there did not seem to be any gluten free substitutes for the pancakes or bread-type things, or I did not see them. The food was ok, the choices were ok, the price for the buffet is $17 and $10 for kids (which I guess is ok if you are very hungry.) Patrons are able to order off the menu, but the menu did not have breakfast items. I am not a very big eater so the buffet was not a good value.
Dropped in after the Boston improv show. The service was good. The food was decent but the cocktails were a little rough. The margarita had way to much mix. The bar tender winged it on the Mia tia or the recipe needs serious work. It was almost undrinkable.
Lowkey dining on Mass Ave. never too crowded and the wait is never too long
Best Sunday buffet breakfast in the greater Boston area! Mabe the state!
We showed up earlier than our reservation and we took accommodated us. Just the noise level to the college basketball game wasn’t really a good atmosphere for a date, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Went to 730 for lunch with a friend. It is a great place. I had a chicken Caesar wrap which was delicious and my friend had the turkey club which she said was excellent. It’s a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. The service was great and the prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend.
The food was good, portion was not too big and not too small. The Brussels sprouts were excellent! And the waitress was very attentive.
Horrible. The food was not good. I asked if the onion soup had an ale base or a beef broth base and instead of saying he would check he just said he didn't know. Burgers were not cooked to the right temperature so they had to go back. Waiter was not paying attention.
You accepting reservations was what made this happen. I'm glad it did
Fun place on Game Day. Very accommodating with a large crowd. Great food! Kind and attentive servers.
With a reservation, we had to wait 1h for our table. Even after that, service was slow andninxomoelte, we had to ask even for water to be brought to the table. Very unprofessional, especially the front house staff and the management.
Such a great, casual meeting place. Our waiter was close to psychic in figuring out the best beer, wine and food for each of us.
This was our first time there. Great food we had apps, dinner and dessert. Every course was met with delightful surprise. Our waitress was excellent as well. Never had to wait to ask anything.
Sunday brunch was delicious. Lots of food options from salad to soup + omelettes and a carving station. Great place to eat and watch the games. It gets a little noisy, but that's to be expected.
Meh. Food was good. Margaritas were better. Service was prompt and responsive. We sat outside -- loud traffic noises and an unruly child made more so by a parent who ignored the brat. Inside was loud and cold. Probably would try another place next time.
Disappointed in this place. Food was good but I made a reservation and they tell me they have no room inside so they have to sit us outside. We didn’t want to sit us outside. The guy is telling me there is a group coming to watch the game so he doesn’t know what to tell me. I’m sorry but when I made a reservation that comes precedence. I shouldn’t be dismissed bc they weren’t organized. So we went to the bar. What a joke this place.
Our visit to 730 Tavern was not great. We came for lunch on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, which also was the last day of restaurant week. It was relatively empty when I arrived at 12, but soon filled up. The service was very poor. Our waitress rarely visited our table, and we received the wrong drinks/food multiple times. After we received our entrees it seemed she completely forgot about us, and we sat for at least 15 minutes with the wrong dessert at our table, and the plates from our appetizers and main courses still crowding the very small table. They only had 1 host, 2 waiters, a bartender, and one runner working, and were clearly overwhelmed. The food was just fine, it definitely was prepared in advanced because of restaurant week, and didn't taste super fresh. The sangria was good, but beware the pitcher is huge! The restaurant week pricing was a good deal, but the cost was still too high for the experience we had. The place is nicely decorated, and I hope they were just having an off day with service, but unfortunately I won't be back.
Great food with many options. Service was great too! Awesome experience.
The salmon tacos were amazing: the filling was moist and flavorful, and the tortilla was soft but not soggy!
We had a reservation for outdoor seating, we got there early but they did not look at the reservation and just sat us inside. Besides that the food and service were good.
Fourth of July, kind of slim pickings. Service was spotty and server was very difficult to understand. ALL food ordered was poor and service SLOW. The only saving grace was fajitas which didn’t come with tomatoes or salsa but some ?cabbage on the side. Mac and cheese was dry and crunchy, added pork belly was so over cooked couldn’t get fork through it. Burger ordered medium was very well done and didn’t sit well. Chicken pesto sandwich also over cooked and chewy. Reuben meat was crunchy dry and mostly bread. Should have sent food back but we were hungry and in a hurry to get to fireworks. Packaged uneaten food and gave to homeless on corner. Starters of fried pickles and buffalo chicken tenders ok but ribs were again dry dry. Good beer selection but wouldn’t go for food, go elsewhere.
Food nice and a great amount of fresh variety. Waitstaff pleasant but seemed inexperienced. This is a great bargain and value. The Tavern would do better service if they had one person that replenished drinks and another that picked up plates especially on Father's Day. MA people like their coffee and keep it coming waiting for it to brew is short sighted. Perhaps carafes of coffee each table. Nice family atmosphere for Father's Day.
Loved sitting on the patio! So many gluten free options. Would recommend
Good basic tavern. Service took a long time, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because the Stanley Cup Final was that night and I'm sure inside was rough! Lovely outdoor seating area. Food was okay: chicken fajitas were mostly onions, and the black beans were basically just heated up canned beans with queso on them. But it was only $15 for the entree so overall not bad!
I have dined there twice, each time the food was excellent. The ambiance is very nice. The decor was fun. The service was very good, even when it was busy.
Sadly, it was a busy day when we visited 730 Tavern. We were seated 30min later than our reservation time. They seemed short-staffed, overwhelmed and disorganized. Surely they can do better.
