Will definitely be going back! Fantastic food and great atmosphere!!
Excellent food! Great service and great prices. Everything was fresh.
Everything was great except my salmon was not cooked enough. It was raw n the middle. That was the only time this has happened. The salmon was always excellent before. That will not stop me from coming back. I will just get something else to eat.
This was our second visit, 2 hrs before close and still our server hadn’t greeted us after we had sat for nearly 3 min. It was not busy at all she had 4 tables to which two of those tables were cashing out. My husband had to go to the bar just feet from where we were sitting to order our drinks. Still waiting... this happened all throughout our dining experience, with us having to ask the bartender for another beverage & waiting almost an hour for our burger and fish n chips! Terrible experience... if we do go back we will sit & order at the bar immediately.. for what our bill was, wasn’t worth it to me based on this happening again for the second time we CHOSE to dine their.
One of our favorite restaurants! Food is consistently fabulous.
We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on 9/7. Dixon was our waiter and he was fantastic. He was very friendly, attentive knowledgeable of the menu. They were very busy and it was nice seeing management helping out the wait staff. The food was amazing and we would definitely come back. We have already recommended to our friends and family. Thank you all so much and for the card as well.
Excellent food and service!! Highly recommend! I went for my birthday with friends and we were all very pleased!
This place was awesome - food , service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Loud place to eat, hard to hear your partner talking can't hold a quiet conversation.
Great scene, nice vibe. Service was fantastic. Food was OK. I felt it was overpriced and oversold for the quality and taste. Liked their locally brewed beers.
Service was great, food was great and perfectly timed. Had a reservation so we walked in the door and were seated.
Service is best in our area. Food is great and at a great price.
Food and service were good, not great, as I've had better at this restaurant in the past. It was a special occasion for us, but the atmosphere was that of a "bar" and not fine dining. The band was so loud that it was difficult to have conversation. Definitely will not go on a Friday night again. The food was good, but the experience was not what we were expecting. Still, I would recommend this restaurant.
Food was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. It was a bit salty and potatoes were cold but steak was perfect temp. The staff was very nice but service was very slow.
It was my moms birthday and I’d even put on reservation it was but this is not the place to go if you would like your loved ones to-get a-bit more attention on their birthday. I was told they don’t sing( that’s fine )but they would at least put a candle in her dessert, they did not . I had put on my reservation why we were coming to eat days prior so this was a bit of a let down. But mom enjoyed it so that’s all that matters in the end. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not, but if in area I might eat there again. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars .
It can also be a bit hard to hear people at your table since noise level / echo effect seemed a bit high.
I would recommend it if the are okay with loud noises and I got pecan encrusted salmon my first time there and loved it this time it actually made me nauseated
Service was attentive and professional. The attic char special was very good and the presentation exquisite. The charcuterie board was excellent.
Absolutely delicious food! Great service! Only been here twice but both times have been amazing!
First time visit. I had crab stuffed trout and it was pretty good, my wife's salmon was better. Not a big deal but was kinda disappointed that I had entered in my OpenTable reservations that special occasion was birthday (wife's) and special request was to be gluten free but, neither was mentioned by any of the staff. They do have a (only one copy) gluten free menu but, it was in circulation and couldn't find it, had to wait until another one was printed.
Overall, we will be going back.
Our only complaint was the thin seared Ahi tuna steak. It was over cooked and quite thin. Our previous experiences with their seafood dishes has been great so we will go back.
Great meal! Would definitely go again. Highly recommend/
Excellent service, prime rib could be cut with a butter knife. All food was just like we ordered. Will definitely be back soon...
My wife and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and decided to try 73 and Main because we have heard so much about the place. We were seated in the main dining area which is very nicely appointed with interesting decor. We arrived early that evening hoping to enjoy a quiet dinner, but by the time our meal arrived the noise level was such that quiet conversation was out of the question.
Our server was exceptionally attentive and pleasant. Our order arrived in a timely fashion, but the food was just tepid. We ordered the special which was the arctic charr which I found to be bland, but my wife was happy with hers.
We don't often complain, but for the price we paid, we were expecting something better.
Drove 1 hour for their advertised Bloody Mary to be told oh we only offer that on Sunday! Usually when you eat at a upscale restaurant you are offered 2 sides, not here! Watched everyone around us get free bread to start we never did! Very very disappointed!!
I have eaten there many times and this is the first time that virtually everything was not cooked properly.
After noting on OpenTable that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we were greeted at our table by a “Happy Anniversary” card signed by the entire staff! This started our experience off very well and it never disappointed. Our waitress, Felicity, made us feel right at home! Our steaks were cooked perfect and the potato cakes were awesome! We will definitely be back!
We had 4 adult entrees plus a kids meal. All but one were exceptional. The manager offered to replace the one meal but we declined. Totally recommend the pork chop and the pecan crusted salmon as they were excellent!
Went back on a Sunday. No band-excellent, nice quiet dinner and prime rib was flavorful and creamed spinach was also. My wife had the fillet medallions over broccolini special that she enjoyed also.
Awesome dinner and great cheesecake!
We had a great evening at 73 and Main as we celebrated my wife's birthday. We had the Oyster's Mt Pleasant, wedge salad, tomato basil soup and Salmon. All were very good, flavorful and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. We will certainly return.
Always enjoy 73&Main. Food is great and service impeccable.
I highly recommend 73 and Main. I have to say that this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The servers were excellent and extremely attentive to us the entire time we were there.
The food is exceptional. We've been three times. Every single time, steak, salmon, pork chops, whatever you order is cooked to perfection. We've always had exceptional service until this last time. Our server seemed more interested in speaking to her coworkers and joking around instead of taking care of her tables. Our drinks were consistently running low or out. Although she did give us plenty of time for our appetizer, my husband's salad came out, then immediately our entrees. In a restaurant of this caliber, you not only pay for good food, but for the dining experience. This time, the experience was definitely lacking.
We chose 73 and Main to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a great meal with excellent service. This restaurant is in an old hosiery mill in a small town in NC. They did a great job with the renovation.
We plan to return for lunch in the near future.
My husband and I took my dad for his annual birthday prime rib. He loved it
Live Music is cool but after 10 seconds of listening you realize it's just to loud. Been to a lot of places with live dinner music and have never seen the dinning room clap at the end of a song. One can Barely hear the wait staff and they can't hear you. It's the only real restaurant in MT Pleasant so if you want to stay around town it's great in comparison. Can't see anyone driving in for this place. Lots of locals playing fine dining in jeans, shorts, and no socks but I half enjoyed the place. Serve prime rib Friday-Sunday so I may go give that try. That would be sweet if it's edible for sure.
Food and service were awesome! They had a 4 piece jazz band playing that were great as well, it was just too loud for us to carry on a conversation. Will go back, but in the future we’ll avoid nights where they have live music.
Food was good. Steak was over cooked. Never received a bread basket - even after asking for our bread with the meal. Never received proper knife to cut steak. VERY loud in restaurant. Hard to have conversation with family without yelling. Very disappointed in wait staff.
I wish it weren't so noisy but the food is great and we love the place!
We ordered 2 steaks that were very chewy and crab cakes that were excellent. The meal was very over priced for the quality of the steaks. The management was excellent.
