About 7 Seas Seafood Grille
Our restaurant setting is in an open air palm made "palapa". Enjoy a relaxing ambiance made by scenic surf view, soft Latin jazz, sea breeze and the sound of the surf breaking on the beach. Our "7 Seas" project is a gastronomical endeavor in search of exciting fresh seafood dishes made of fish caught from according to Jacques Cousteau "one of the great aquariums in the world": the sea of Cortez. Dishes are inspired from Old and New world, Oriental and Mexican legacies. As a complement to our main menu, we offer Mexican dinner specialties. Wine is carefully selected and brought from wineries all over the "7 Seas" from California, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. Our bread, desserts and pastries are done in-house by our talented pastry chef.

7 Seas Seafood Grille Ratings and Reviews
Had a wonderful evening at 7 Seas. I ordered the Surprise Me Catch of the Day Tuna. It came out with a peppered outside with a light glaze. Could have been cooked just a little more for me. Came with asparagus and rice. Wife ordered the Mezcal Shrimp. I had some of hers as well and had nice flavor when you coated the shrimp with some of the sauce.
Service was great. They provided some nice treats between courses. In our case some ceviche on a chip before our soup and some pineapple coconut sorbet before our meal. They some cupcakes after our meal. Cost was fairly diverse from $20-50 for entrees. Would visit again and enjoy a nice dinner hearing the waves break on the shore.
7 Seas is an outstanding hotel restaurant overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The waitstaff was meticulous and professional. Prices are reasonable. The calamari appetizer was very good, the sea bass -fresh and delicious however, the churros were a bit overdone outside and underdone inside with watery caramel sauce. Overall a very nice restaurant.
Restaurant has a great ocean view, however that is where the exceptional ends. We were a party of 4, ordered appetizers, main course, and desert. After placing order and receiving appetizers, we were rushed right into the main course. Asked for extra bread, never received it. We then placed a desert order, and this seemed to take longer than it should have. Timing of the courses was very inconsistent. Wedge salad was almost a full head of lettuce with a lot of dressing. Sea Bass was under seasoned and lacking flavor. Caesar salad had an excess of dressing as well. Service seemed disconnected between the two waiters, and was overall not attentive. Lobster was not good, and over cooked. Very disappointing when you are paying market price. Unfortunately the view is the best part of this restaurant.
Went with my family while we were on vacation in Cabo. The ambiance and view is beautiful, even at night for dinner. The service was great, Brito was our waiter. The food was delicious and palate cleanser sorbets were an extra bonus. I highly recommend the sea bass and tres leches for dessert. The ahi tuna was dry and chewy- probably the worst meal of all 5 of us.
Fantastic all around. Outdoor seating with a raised view of the beach and ocean. The service was exceptional! Very attentive staff takes great care of the details! My wife and I ordered the sampler appetizer, mezcal shrimp/beef tenderloin surf n turf, and finished with the sampler desert! Every bite of every item was delicious! Favorite appetizer was the traditional tuna tartar, the beef tenderloin melted in our mouths, and the tres leches morsel on the desert tray was a top pick! Prices were definitely fair for the quality of service, food, and experience! Don’t think twice, go...you won’t be disappointed!
This was our second visit during a week of vacation in Cabo. Beautiful location and design. Warm, friendly and efficient staff. Good range of menu options and consistently superior food. We particularly loved the appetizers which were very generous in portion size and quite delicious!
We were looking for a restaurant with great ocean views. We definitely found that on the outdoor patio of 7 Seas. We also found great food. I could have ordered anything on the menu, but I opted for three smaller items, a fig Salad, tortilla soup and crab cakes. The coconut flavors on the crab cake were a little over-powering for the crab, in my opinion, but over-all, everything was great and the service was also well above average. We are going back tonight.
Really good food and a great ocean side setting. It's a bit casual being a surf hotel connected restaurant but the view, food, and service was excellent and they have gated parking. If you're staying in Pamilla or near San Jose, definitely worth the drive over. I wouldn't come all the way from Cabo or down south just for this place but if you're near the area, it's worth the stop in for surf & turf or another great dish on the menu. As mentioned, the view is really something.
Ask for a waterside table. Nothing in the way of specials were ever offered to us but the menu is varied enough to find something you like. Wine list was decent and lots of varieties.
We have eaten there many times. This last night was very subpar. I believe they were under staffed. The food came out very late and only after we threatened to leave. It was dry and not hot. ( fish) Maybe it sat for a while before being served.
To their credit they comped the meal. Who knows? Honest explanations can be hard to come by.
Sadly, they didn't live up to past experiences. The appetizers were good, ceviche, but the entries were not. The tuna wasn't very good quality and the red snapper wasn't correct and wasn't very good as well. Some chefs surprise!! Ugh.
Views can't be beat and the drinks are good. But this time dinner was a disappointment.
I would give it worse rating if this was possible. Our anniversary was ruined by bad food, rude staff. Ordered a filet mignon and got a new york steak. Ordered a cesar and found hair in it. Ordered mac n cheese and found pasta in a cheese soup. The manager said the hair is not from the kitchen. Did not finish any pf the food but still had to pay for it. Dont waste your time and money.
This is a great place right on the beach. Our server was excellent and really knew the menu, explained all the dishes with passion as if he was the chef.
I had the Mezcal Shrimp Flambée, served with plantains, rice and black beans. It was fantastic! The ceviche was also very good.
The parking is easy as well.
Food was good. Outdoor seating with an incredible view of the ocean. Prices were fair. Service was terrible, the kitchen was backed up and took a very long time to get our dinner. We had to ask for our check and then get up from the table to find someone to pay.
Absolutely wonderful experience, a killer ocean view with excellent service and fine dining. My snapper was muy buen and wife's lobster was cooked perfectly. Decent wine list and they made blue cheese olives for my martini which was a surprise after he said they didn't have them. Highly recommend for date night.
The 7 Seas has a nice waterfront deck with a great view, and their service was really good -- no complaints there. However, my wife and I found their food to be awfully hit-or-miss. We started with a Caesar Salad and the Tuna Tartar Trio. Both were pretty good; we finished them entirely. Then, we had the Mezcal Shrimp and the Surf and Turf (with Beef Tenderloin and Sea Bass) for our entrees. Both plates were very average, at best. The Surf and Turf was overcooked, both the beef and the fish. More than anything, their presentations, recipes and flavor profiles seemed dated, like, stuck in the '80s or '90s. If you're looking for some really creative, contemporary, and exciting flavors, you might want to try someplace else. Bottom line: We probably won't be rushing back here next time we're in Los Cabos.
