6th & La Brea
Full of fresh, innovative Californian and Asian flavors, our menu is designed to be shared and explored amongst friends and family. Revel in elevated fare that pushes the boundaries of brewpub fare with a vegan-friendly twist.
Our brewhouse boasts a beautiful 7-barrel brewing system that helps fill our 14 rotating taps. Sip on freshly brewed beers served directly off of brite tanks. From American styles like west coast IPAs to English, German, and Belgian styles, our brews pay homage to each unique brewing tradition.
Really nice server. Great atmosphere. Decent size portions compared so some trendy places these days. Quick service. Great drinks and home-brewed beers. I loved the crafted shirley temple and coffee beer.
This restaurant is so dark and noisy there is no way I will come back. The food and ale are good but the atmosphere is not conducive to enjoying others.
What a waste. Cute space, decent food, friendly (enough) staff but service is terrible, and they know it. Sign at the front read "seat yourself" - Should have read "serve yourself." UPDATE: To their credit recieved a very nice message from the manager asking for another chance. We all deserve that. And the food was good, and staff pretty friendly. Ok.
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with this place. It took about 15 minutes to receive my beer after I ordered it and apparently they ran out of what I ordered. Instead of asking me if I wanted something else, they chose for me. I asked for a recommendation as to what to eat, and the waiter suggested the steak sandwich. It was not a good choice. The bread was thick and hard and the steak was way too chewy. People I was with ordered the burger and they seemed to enjoy it. I should've ordered that.
The food was TERRIBLE. All seven of us ordered different meals and they were each uniquely disguising. My tofu bowl is officially the worst meal I have ordered in LA. Bad
Great Dine LA lunch. Kale salad and Korean fried chicken were great. Skillet chocolate chip cookie was fantastic.
The Korean fried chicken and miso kale salad were both outstanding. The prod fixed DineLA menu was a great value as well. So glad to have found this place.
I didn't have any beer, so maybe that's good here but not much else is.
They made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. Additionally, they made us sit outside (it was about 45-50 degrees F) and the heaters were not working. The said all the indoor tables were taken up although I made my reservation 3 days prior. Additionally, the servers were not attentive in the slightest. I would recommend only going for beer.
Great service, the short rib fries are INCREDIBLE
The food is always great, the service impeccable and hospitable. Great place for dinner and/or a beer
Good beer and food. Staff was great and really upbeat
I think the food is pretty tasty, but I thought the burrata with butternut squash was so disappointing and really overpriced.
It’s was very festive and fun! Food is always great! Wait staff we helpful and attentive.
Absolutely love the food and service here. And their beer selection is great without being overwhelming. It's my new favorite local haunt.
Fantastic food!!! No one seems to know they’re open for lunch, so for now it’s nice and quiet. Loved everything.
Went on a chilly night- got at a table by the door and it left open as people came and went. The hostess closed it when she occasionally looked up from her phone and noticed, but had to keep my jacket on the whole time. Put a reorder in for another beer that didn’t come even though the food did. The main dish came without share plates. The waiter corrected both when he came by to check in, but seems like miscommunication between the servers and food runners. The food is really overpriced... $100 night for 4 beers an app and fried chicken dish (2 pieces of overdressed chicken). I live walking distance and this is my second attempt at this place. Want so badly to love it and have a great neighborhood a lot but this isn’t it yet. The beer list and ambiance is great though, just step up the food and service.
The burger with kimchi was excellent. We were sat by the door though and it was freezing cold. Our server was mostly MIA. Will try again and hope for a different section.
A few friends and I decided to check out the new restaurant around town. I made the reservation on opentable a few days prior and requested indoor seating. The day of the reservation, they called to confirm if I wanted indoor or outdoor seating. I told them indoor being that it gets pretty cold here at night. Fast forward to the dinner, we were seated outside next to a heater that didn’t work. I was then asked to move indoors and was offered to sit at a communal table. At this point, my group was famished at 10p, 30 minutes past our reservation, so we decided to sit at the communal table and enjoy our meal there. Our waiter definitely attempted to save our experience, but the service was slow. The food was served cold and my meal didn’t arrive until after my party finished their entire meal. This is such a shame because the food was delicious, but based on the experience I can’t say I’d ever go back or recommend anyone else to.
Super noisy inside but otherwise great. We sat outside, so problem solved!
no one in the place and yet the waitress could not remember to bring ketchup and mustard for my burger when asked. I had to flag down a bus boy after ten minutes of sitting their waiting for condiments while my food got cold. Huge space, but dead and uninspired. food was medicore and cold by the time I ate it.
Just a great casual place with amazing food, big variety... a gem of a spot
A great place for Sunday brunch. Good selection of craft beers on tap some brewed right on the premises. Excellent service.
i have already told people about 6th and la brea. as a whole, it is a great spot. is it a mind blowing experience... no... but every restaurant can't be. this place is solid. good food. friendly staff. clean and well designed.
great service and drink too. I got the matcha/aloe cocktail and my dad got a beer. We split the Caesar salad and a miso salmon. Both were great! Definitely would come back to get the miso salmon!
Great for happy hour; good food, cute atmosphere.
Decent spot, loud, feels like an step up from a sports bar
Really good French fries. Strange menu options. Great wait staff. TVs for sports but the four main TVs at bar shoe beer menu, seems like a waste.
We wanted to love this restaurant as it's particularly convenient and pleasant and it was our first visit. The service was friendly, attentive and personal. Our server was very knowledgeable. The food, however, was uneven and underwhelming. A burger ordered medium came out the first time beyond well, and when cooked again was medium well but my guest kept it. Another guest's salmon entree was nice. The calamari salad was sparse, overly dressed in a spicy dressing and just not very exciting. I would be willing to try again but would order differently and see if that helps.
Great food, but the music is too loud to have a business drinks inside.
The space is beautiful, and I'm happy that there's a new walkable place in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, despite a recommendation from people I trust, the food was totally mediocre--especially considering the promise of the descriptions on the menu. The fried chicken was overcooked inside and soggy on the outside--nothing like some of the excellent offerings of fried chicken sandwiches around town. The banh mi was meh. The dipping vehicle for the fava bean puree was an odd seed crisp--flaxseeds perhaps? (Which btw, makes you have to use the bathroom.) Even the fries were just average. Again, the space is great and staff friendly, so I'd stop by for a beer. But not for food again!
Great food. AMAZING layout and ambience
Very attentive servers
