680 North Restaurant
Some of the best service I have ever had. Food was very good, Steak and lobster. Girlfriends steak was undercooked for her liking, but the chef came out and made it right by her very quickly. We will definitely be back if for the service alone!
At first surprised at salad bar returning then saw the gloves available and felt better. People coming from other direction only saw gloves after salad bar.
Food was delicious. Some items were cold because the fire was out underneath them. Lots to choose from. Staff was friendly & available if you needed them.
Smiling waitresses, lots of choices, decent wine, and window seats to enjoy the view.
I am guessing that with Covid, the Sunday brunch that was supposed to be available was just axed, bummer cause it would have been nice rather than their limited menu. But the location is awesome.
Good ffood and friendly server. Well made cocktails.
Felt safe. Distancing practiced. Waitress did not have mask.
We went for Sunday Brunch and were not disappointed, my 15 year old picky eater was so full when we left he needed a nap on the ride home
from eggs and bacon to prime rib and beyond it was all fantastic. the surroundings are beautiful and the fire place is a nice touch, this was our first time here as a family and i will be returning for more family Sunday morning brunches
PS the dessert bar is amazing - try pineapple dipped in the chocolate fountain you will never be the same
Wasn't aware they only served brunch for Sunday lunch. Was clearly celebrating a birthday and it was not acknowledged. The food was good but would have liked better choices and better desserts.
Buffet items were barely warm. No prime rib as advertised. Expensive for what received.
We love the atmosphere there, but the food was just OK. Nothing outstanding. The seafood chowder was one of the best I have ever had however. It was actually extremely cold. We all kept our coats on.
Service was ok, had to drink cold coffee because the waitress never came back to refill my coffee. She was too busy refilling salt and pepper shakers. I had to ask for more coffee after realizing she would never bring coffee. She then offered coffee when I was done with dessert. So basically $2.50 for coffee was not reasonable priced considering it didn’t get refilled and I had to drink it cold.
The food was not good. Both steaks we very tough. The tenderloin was not even the right cut. The seared tuna was ok but the pineapple salsa was over powering the tuna. It was unfortunate, we love green lake area and it needs some more good restaurants. The facility was nice as was the service. How do you get those right and blow it in the kitchen
Fish and chips were good but a little pricey for what you get. My wife ordered her steak medium rare and came out medium well and not a good cut of meat besides. Service was just okay for the number of servers they had working on a Friday night. Not surprised that there were more empty tables than occupied ones. When we arrived they didn't even ask if we had reservations even though I had made them earlier in the day. Needless to say we were not impressed with our visit. We can do better for food and experience elsewhere.
The soup selection that day was beef vegetable. Very tasty with large pieces of beef. All items on the salad bar were fresh and salad dressing was very good. My entree was the Walleye Almondine. Nice piece of fish, but could have used more seasoning or a little sauce, more almonds and forgot the capers. Mashed potatoes were good.
God choices of food on menu. Broiled fish is excellent. Good salad bar. Drinks very reasonably priced. Good service.
We have been going to 680 North Restaurant for the last 30 years. The food has always been great which is why we continue to go back. Also, a very nice atmosphere.
Delicious food and beautiful place. Website needs updated as we were really excited for chicken and ribs on Sunday, and they did not know of this special. Very happy with what we got though.
I would maybe reccomend it food was ok for lunch burgers were burgers ordered it medium came done the chicken wrap was good 2 out of 4 were good service was a little slow for no one in thier for Saturday lunch waitress didn't smile much almost like she didn't want to work also the 4 of us sat down at a table and shortly after that another women comes to our table and tells me I owe a hundred dollars for a bounced check or something I told her this is my first time eating here I hope they don't do that to all the customers my wife might come back but I don't no if I will their is also a 41/2 percent charge for a credit card or debit card
