   We went on New Year’s Eve, so it was a bit chaotic. The hostess did not have our reservations as she did not use open table platform. So word to wise check with the restaurant after you do your reservations via email. However, she was able to accommodate us an hour later, which was fine. The menu has a lot of seafood and it was good. The pasta with lobster comes with a half lobster in the shell ( very good if you like to get in there). The fish soup was excellent with lots of clams, mussels, and shrimp. My son is allergic to seafood so he had a harder time picking something out. It was a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants on our trip, but it was New Years Eve and we indulged.

   Everything about this place is first class except for the live music. It was much to loud given the environment your in. Given its quaint atmosphere in Venice, Italy you would think that the music would be Italian not American 80’s music. I hear that all the time in the states. It really ruined the romantic potential it was capable of.

   Great food, atmosphere and service. We found out why it was rated very high when looking for a place to eat in Venice. The singer/guitarist was fun also.

   We did enjoy our meal at the restaurant, and the servers were nice, but we couldn't carry on any conversation at all because the man doing the music was so very loud we couldn't hear each other talk. When I go out to eat I don't mind live music, but I do wish to speak to my companion and I enjoy hearing him speak as well. Food = good Noise = can't return. I'm not sure I could recommend to friends.

    Good ambiance although restaurant was warm. Food was mixed- two dishes were tasty and one pasta dish was over cooked. My wife’s pizza was not fully cooked. Staff was relatively friendly and warmed up pizza. My experience didn’t match the overall ranking. Service was only so-so
