Let me just say "the best"! I have had Indian food all over the world and this has to be one of the top five. Let's start with the service, exceptional. After one dinner we decided to come back for the buffet the next week and the waiter remembered us and even greeted us with a handshake. Now onto the food - WOW. Everything was yummy, just yummy. I'm going to find it hard not to go to the buffet each week - it really is worth the money. I tried both the meat and veggie dishes. They even had some type of mango frozen soft serve dessert that grew on me. I can't say enough good about this place. Oh wait - it's clean as clean can be, another benefit!

When are we going to get a great Indian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale? The service was good, not great. More then half of the vegetables served were store bought frozen. I asked for chilies, or hot chutney, on the side and they bought me jalapeños and siracha. Sugar was added to every dish we ordered. It was all disappointing. All of their fish is tilapia which is not mentioned in the menu. No good.

Great find. Picked the restaurant because it was in the area we were going to be in that evening. Great food. Great service. Great waiter. Came back again tonight. He remembered us and remembered what we ordered the last time we were here. Even thought it is far for us, we will return with friends and family.

A great consistency every time we go to this neighborhood gem. The food is always delicious and the menu offers a lot of variety and choices to pick from. And our waiter, Denice, is very attentive and helpful.

5th Element is consistent in terms of the taste and quality of the food. They always seat us at our reservation time. And the service is always friendly and efficient. Great to have a good restaurant close to home, here in Pompano.

This was my first visit to 5th Element and I am very glad that we dined there. It is a bit of a drive from where we live but since we love Indian food it was worth the effort. Almost all of the others guests seemed to be Indian and there were several large family groups having dinner. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go again.

I thought the restaurant was nice, clean and a great place to bring family and friends. My fiancee is from India so it was important for me to find a place where she could get the type of food she desired and missed from back home. She did the ordering as she could read what it said and knew what the offerings were as I did not. There was one main dish that she requested and it came out, not to her liking. She brought it to the waiters attention and he just shrugged and said, thats how they make it and offered nothing to replace it or a redo or even subtract it from the bill. That situation could have been handled differently and I am disappointed that she just left the dish there, and trust me, she is one that never throws anything out, so it must have been bad, Other than that, the evening was nice, we enjoy our time together and the restaurant on the whole was worth the drive.

Wonderful experience, we have struggled to find a truly great Indian restaurant, we have finally found it, food was outstanding and when they say it is a hot dish boy is it a hotttttttttt dish. I had the stuffed jalapeños as a starter and they were so delish but made my eyes water. We will definitely be coming back!!!
